Yes, that is why I think SDSU could be in the mix. Though from all signs I've seen ISU would be the leader. And I have yet to hear anything saying SDSU is in the mix. it just said closer to home, and from everything I've read Minnesota doesn't seen likely, they have guard play, looks like their roster is filled, and didn't recruit him out of high school. He is a senior so I'm guessing he would want to go where he can play, and be on a team that has a shot to do something. and I thought SDSU fit all of those, I've read some Iowa St. fan chatter, and no one really knows what their scholarship count is. They have had transfers, walk-ons, walk-on/scholarship, etc. Plus no one knows if White is leaving or not.

I know SDSU, doesn't really need a guard, but for 1 year, sounds like he could take Griffs role on the team, also sounds like a great kid.

I think Taevaunn is going to grow into that role. Kid's tough, stocky, and with training will be able to guard well over his height, IMO.

Heard Lockett had over 40 schools contact him already...

Still think we'd be a fit!

Yeah, from what I've read, and its still early and its a sensitive issue so you really don't know what is accurate. But he would like to be in driving distance of "home". And he would like to go into a position where he could play solid minutes, and being a good team would help.

Best part of this article if its true is he is at his best going to the basket. that is exactly what we need in PG. finding a good shooter is not that hard, but a guy who can go to the basket and sees the court well. thats a big assest sdsu needs to keep getting better.

Lots of transfer talks out there at the High DI level... with UCONN players leaving because of post-season ban next year, 3 Michigan players transferring... Wonder if we are in the mix (I'll bet Oakland is)... Also - what if Tim Miles gets the Nebraska job.. does that change the perspective of a certain SD born 6'10 Center who redshirted his senior year this past season? Who knows.. seems like new news every day...

Well you have only 5 years of eligibility in basketball once the clock starts. He played 3 years in Minnesota and sat out this year. He would have to sit out another year if transferred again. He is pretty much stuck at Colorado State, with or without Miles.

Unless he got his release because the coach left. I'm just saying that it's possible.

However, I don't think Miles is going anywhere this year and Iverson will finish out at CSU.

If you graduate (like Lockett) you can transfer without sitting out year. Last year ISU had that Jake Anderson guy from Northern Ill. and Oregon had the guy from LA Tech this year...

I assume there's many opportunities and dozens of players changing locations every spring.

Thought I would mention that Connor was selected today as the 2012 Alaska Gatorade Player of the Year. This is combined with his 4A Boys Player of the Year Award he already received last week which is voted on by the coaches.
