I realize everyone looks good in their youtube highlight reel...but I certainly like the way he attacks the basket looking to dunk everything possible. Showed some range and I thought his footwork was pretty solid for a 6'9" high school kid. Oh yah, he seems to play defense also, which doesn't hurt

This looks like a very good signing IMO. He obviously needs to add weight but still has a year to do so. He is a good athlete and has good hands/range. I don't doubt that if he was in the lower 48 we would have had much more competition for him.

According to Yankton's sport's editor James Cimburek (twitter.com/aceman904) his dad played at Mount Marty and Terry V said he has family in Watertown and in Minnesota.

Thank Jeebus he plays defense. I don't care if he scores a point as long as he plays D and can rebound. However I do appreciate trying to dunk everything.

He could still be growing, and might put an other inch on before he comes to SDSU.

By the photo he does show athleticism and with SD family ties, this recuit might play a bunch for the Jackrabbits.

Connor's dad grew up in Watertown--very nice family. In addition to extended family in Watertown, I think there's family in the Yankton area, too and elsewhere in eastern SD...will be good for ticket sales!

Really good get by Nagy and staff. Congrats to them. He definitely needs to add some pounds but this should be a good fit for us. Too bad he isn't a 2011 recruit!

I'm impressed too. That kid is still young enough that he could add an inch or two. Even if he just fills out a little he should be a much-needed presence in the middle. Now if we just had one of those for this coming season....

I like how he keeps his arms up on D and how when he got the ball in the post, keeps it, up, only a few times he brought it down. also did not waste time turning to the basket.

He reminds me some of Marcus Heemstra.

Probably not as skilled as Heemstra, but more athletic and more of an inside presence.

I'm sure Alaska's high school basketball isn't too highly regarded, but he did make 1st team in the largest class as a Junior.

That's one of the things that made McHale great.

Boever was pretty good at keeping the ball up in the post too.
