I honestly thought Angel was going to be more return specialist due to his fumbling issues. I thought both vorhees or woods would pass him if not both 9n the depth chart."The most rewarding things you do in life, are often the ones that look like they cannot be done.” Arnold Palmer

Seriously though, if true, I was surprised it took Large that long to transfer. Given mutual appreciation between Jimmy and Large, I thought Large's transfer would be nearly immediate once Jimmy was hired

However, with both Angel and Vorhees going he may have changed his tune.I updated my signature for the first time in six years.

Hopefully Fleck still has mayo in his synapses that prevents him for "rowing in" to disrupt things even more

in the system we have been running, he pretty easily is utilizing 4 safeties
disappointed is a very strong word for Stig. he is the guy who took a chance on TL as a walk on. tough to see him turn his back on that
that said, I see at least Tilford and Stanard staying. that does not feel like a terrible start. i would think DJ will have a very good feeling regarding making the right choices about what DBs to take out of the portal

He is a high risk/high reward player.. He gets long runs but he has had some fumbles. He missed played a kickoff or two, also.
I would still like him at SDSU because he could help out. But if you want to run the ball down NDSU's throat, it would be nice to have more size and power.
New OC's (maybe) this year could make a difference in all this, too.

Good for Bryce. I don't like the portal rules but they are what they are and I have no issue with kids like Hawthorne getting a chance to play somewhere like Iowa. But Wazzu isn't Iowa. It's an FBS backwater. There's a reason why the xDSUs are successful in getting 3* with offers from G6 schools and even P4 schools to come to Brookings, etc. The guys going to Wazzu are making at best a lateral move IMHO with the big exception being that they have played their last meaningful game.

I hope there isn't a day where we're inviting Jimmy and Co back on campus for some kind of commemoration. Same for the players. Let them go "home" to Pullman ten years from now to commemorate their first win in the new PAC, a hard fought win over Fresno or some trash like that.
