Should fit in nicely. He's another mobile QB. Was played of the game for the Idaho potato bowl game. Longest rush on the year was like 40 yarda

DJ also said owing to the academic calendar, they are done adding for now but might add pieces as the dust settles on the 5000 kids in the portal.

Likely just want a second experienced option if Chase would go down. If that would happen, it would have been Henry with 3 games experience and a bunch of guys with none.

I just rewatched the clip you mentioned. I don't think he said a spot just opened up, I believe he just said they weren't planning on taking another QB but "some things are going on that made us bring Josh in". He specifically named all our QBs in the room so I don't think anyone else is leaving.

That sounds somewhat ominous...

Otter also left. In other words, he wasn't expecting both Otter and Marble to go.

That's been known for quite awhile if I remember correctly. He said that a spot had just opened up. Maybe it was at another position and they just decided to get the best player available.

After announcing that Holst was incoming, Jackson named all the QB's they have and listed Chase, Henry, Thue, Rezac and the incoming freshmen. I went through last year's roster and Marble and Bell were the only other QB's, and we knew that they were gone.

Edward (Eddie) Schultz has 4.4 speed. His story is an interesting one. He was originally committed to Colorado and I think he ended up being one of those 50 Deion casualties that we read about when Deion took over and brought in his own guys. I wonder if that ended up changing his whole trajectory. If signing day is in February are most recruits / future scholarships 'locked' up by a certain date?
