Looks like the Sac State transfer is an H Back / TE type, so could be a replacement for Kevin Brenner. It's been 3 weeks since Jackson mentioned an incoming RB during the spring game broadcast - surprised that it is taking so long.

Received a commit from a TE transfer from Sac State. Herder also mentioned we are possibly getting a 2x all conference FCS RB. Any ideas who that could be?

A player I would like to see the new staff go after is Aiden Knapke, safety from CO.
the previous administration offered him at SDSU and he had signed at Wazzu but recently transferred out. Not sure the reason but his high school tape looks like a guy that can play.

The coaching staff must be thinking that DB's are a position of need. Got two commits there this week and saw today that they offered a safety from the Citadel.

Just in terms of numbers, the defensive backfield and running backrooms were the most thin after Jimmy finished pilfering the team.

Curious if Jackson sits down with these kids and has an honest conversation with them about their future with the program, or if their departure is due to frustration from transfers being brought in at their position.

When he was on the radio broadcast of the spring game, he said he was going to have individual meetings with everyone on the roster. I'm sure he was honest with players about how he saw their future in the program going forward.

I think you could say mostly the former of this statement. With roster limits I have to believe Coach Jackson is having conversations about realistic playing time and giving some of these guys a chance to find a new home if that's what they desire. I think that is why spring ball was so early, as to hit the spring portal window.

Coach Jackson is a straight shooter.
