According to Jackrabbit Illustrated, another grad transfer DB has been added. Zayid Aziz from Georgetown looks to have played both CB and safety.

Really like some of the transfer options we have gotten at CB. Just picked up a commit from Jayden Oliver who was a starter for Buffalo. He had multiple G5 offers as well as USD, NDSU, Montana State. Also got commits from Isaiah Johnson who was a first team All-NSIC last year at Bemidji and Ernest Blackshire who appeared to have flipped to us from UNI. I was pretty nervous about this position, so it appears we now have some options along with the return of Myles Taylor.

I saw that a DE from Bemidji State tweeted that he has offers from us and USD.

That pretty obviously sounds like the player mentioned by Herder. Also so we offered a OL transfer from Iowa State awhile ago.

Yes, but Zim doesn't normally get too wrapped up in things until they are confirmed, so I took him mentioning it last week as a possible indication that nothing "fell through," but of course, I could be mistaken.

I’m very surprised this position has been targeted so heavily in the portal as this is the position I have felt like we were able to retain a majority of the current players and recruits.

Zim alluded to depth being a consideration during recent NLA.

Recent offers to two grad transfer CB's - Jayden Oliver (Buffalo) and Al Ashford III (Northern Arizona). Oliver has offers from NDSU, Montana State and many other FCS and FBS schools. Ashford has Montana offer with two years of eligibility.

They may be looking at the platoon type of play which keeps fresh bodies on the field. Or keeping insurance for depth. The OL makes the RB the hero.

Yes, OL and RB were a couple positions mentioned. The RB is reportedly a veteran FCS player.
