Lets hope Bjorn is on our watch list as well. I would hate to see him in a Bulldog uniform.

Certainly excited about Anders but we all must understand that he isn't expected to be a Nate Wolter's type (I don't think anyone is). He is an undersized shooting guard that has been lighting it up against a level of competition that is far below DI basketball.

A freshman undersized shooting guard had better be able to handle the ball, pass well and defend if he is going to play at this level right away. You can't practice that in a small high school. I think there is a decent chance he doesn't redshirt but ideally her would sit out a year.

I like the sound of that. A lot.

(Wish I lived up to it more myself, actually.)

I think we're getting a good one, here.

Nonsense. I see 4 future all conference players in this class, despite the fact they haven't participated in a college practice.

Not our guy. Creighton fans or Pierre fans may be interested, Jackrabbit fans, not so much.

Severyn drew the attention, dished off and got the assist.

Rough night for me, thanks for the clarification and the link. Nice pass.

Definitely not buying into the "Bromance" but FWIW here ya go http://www.maxpreps.com/blogs/maxwir...101-83-win.htm

purely for my own amusement I did some checking on national rankings for the 2013 class as compared to the rankings of our 2012 recruits alma maters.

                            2012
                            Donlan Capital Christian CA 1090
                            Bittle Bixby HS OK 2501
                            Devine Wasilla HS AK 8292

                            2013
                            Broman Lakeview Christian MN 7176
Doyle Jefferson MN 9065 **Somebody tell me why he is not listed on the roster??
                            Flatten Clark SD 3992
                            Severyn Riggs SD 443

Thoroughly impressed with the national ranking of FT Riggs HS in Pierre at 443 - says good things about Severyn and his readiness to play. Don't know what the 2012 rankings were for Donlan/Bittle/Devine so am working on the assumption that they are around the same, although Wasilla may be in a bit of a slump this year without Devine. Draw from it what you will given that only Bittle was ready to play this year - it would be easy to say that Severyn is the most likely to play based on these rankings but we all know there is a lot more that goes into that decision than their HS rankings.

Nate Wolters was not expected to be a Nate Wolters type.

Kid has a very consistent release, and he appears to get good lift on his jump shots. He also moves well without the ball, and can get a shot off quickly. And he's got a good work ethic.

Not going to make any predictions, but that is a very nice set of attributes for Nagy's system.
