Well, sort of. The post states that, "For big markets (Top 30), the annual charge to stations is as high as $100,000." So, if they charge the NYC affiliate $100,000 and everyone else five bucks the statement is true. Now, I don't think that is the case, and I think most of what he says about how stations make money is true (thanks Mike H), if you read the post it basically is a somebody said that someone told them that someone else was told this about top 30 markets. Doesn't mean it isn't true, but it would seem to have little relevance as to why KWSN made any decision it did.
