And yes, I do have a problem with it. Especially when they are cussing up a storm and acting like idiots.

And no, I don't think we owe the bison anything for helping set an attendance record two years ago. Why don't we just give them the marker back?
    Rabbitinverm:

Thanks for contacting me off the board, and as I said I was not at the game and did not observe the behaviour you noted in the PM, so this was not good thing for fellow doners to JC, and my apologies for mentioning the word "hostile' when discussing Bison Fans and their behaviour. Some of these fans are great people, and some act like jerks and make the others look bad, and that may be the case Friday Night that is Jerks and not gentlemen or ladies. I missed the game in person btw.

If you give your tickets or trade them or whatever to other people, you should know who they are and how they will behave especially if they are courtside. Good points.

No we are not going to give the marker back unless Coach Bohl finds a way to beat us on the field. I DO think the business people in Brookings have no problem receiving dollars from people wearing John Deere colors(Green and Gold).

One final comment. I entered the student entrance and sat in the same area. It looked like I was the only one who brought shoes. I hope the students donated at the bookstore because it didn't look like any brought shoes. I didn't see what the main entrance looked like for shoes and I'm hoping they release the final tally sometime for everyone to hear. This is a good collection to help others and I'm hoping other fans donated, no matter what their attitude towards Coach Nagy and/or the team is.

Shots not going down like they were earlier. I believe people discussed this in earlier posts. Feel free to read past posts.

You miss the first time, fine. But you follow it up with one just as bad (as if you were expecting the second one to go in). I actually didn't think the first one was going to hit the back board. A friend of mine and I are pretty good at guessing which ones will make the free throw and we both said no to that one.

Complete meltdown, enough said...that also includes the last 1:04 of regulation. I'm with packer, erase that memory from my head as quickly as possible.

Those two were in front of us and thankfully out of our sightline. I thought it was incredible that someone in our student section didn't take the banner when they were hanging it right over them. There was a group of middle school aged kids that moved down and heckled them with their SDSU posters and foam fingers. They had more cahoneys than our students did. I guess there is still hope.
I don't care if opposing fans have "connections" and get premium seats. I can't stand the total lack of class to make a spectacle of themselves. I don't mean to speak ill of the dead, but, it reminded me of the time that Fred Tibbetts had a courtside seat for a State vs. U game and wore a "Hate State" shirt. That was the biggest lack of class I have in my record book...but this one was close. I was proud of Mike for giving it back.

Not sure there is basis for that statement other than pure pessimism.

SDSU is in a 4 way tie for the 6th spot and 2 out of 4th. They have IPFW, UMKC and SU at home. IUPUI, Centary and W. Illinois, who are in a free fall on the road. All very winnable games. Even Oakland should be a battle.

Thursdays game is important to get back on track, but they are far from sitting home at this point. They have progressed from the first 1/3 of the season and could easily make the next step in the last half of conference play.
