Re: NCAA 6thFan Contest
Actually, I'm positive that's the way it is. If you click to vote on a certain school, it will show their end of day ranking for the past 10 days. If you try it for NDSU, you will see that we haven't ended below #2 for the past 10 days. On the day you mentioned (February 14), NDSU ended #1, ASU ended at #5, and you guys ended at #2, not #3, #1, and #6 like you said. I agree that doesn't really matter, but I thought I'd let you know how it actually works.
Also, I have seen the graph change throughout the day. I have used that to narrow down how close other teams are to us in daily voting, and I have been tracking it for about a week now. I have 8 of the top 16 schools where I can estimate very closely what percentage of votes they have compared to NDSU. For example, today, you could have told me to assume NDSU would end at +5% in voting (or any other %), and I could have told you within a couple percentage points what those other 7 schools would need to end at compared to their previous day in order to pass NDSU in daily voting. I am narrowing down my estimates on the other 8 schools, but I'm not quite as confident on them, because I haven't seen what percentages they have had when they have passed other schools.
