    Re: Minnesota

SDSU has biased fans just like every other school. That is part of the fun of fan forums. You should have heard the talk before the NCAA Baylor game last year around campus....but SDSU still almost knocked off Baylor, and they didn't shoot great.

      Re: Minnesota

We will see what a significantly better team does to a lesser team. My guess- its not what sdsu did vs omaha.

        Re: Minnesota

This is awful. Jacks defense is awful. Regardless of Nate being out, the guys have no energy or effort out there. Turnover after turnover. I know Minnesota is really good but this effort is really disheartening.

All of out talk about NCAA seeding etc. will look foolishly premature if Carlson, White, and Dykstra don't make big improvements in the next month or two.

Im not advocating a dirty foul by any means, but why do we let them dunk without contesting. Shows the effort.

Griff would always contest everyhing. Was it oru they tried to talk how they only play pansy ball and you can't make concact or something because griff went for a block on a dunk and the oru guy fell over or something like that.

                    Re: Minnesota

Nagy: Disappointed. Feels they didn't compete, was upset at halftime. Have a lot of guys that don't play with confidence. Aren't playing to the level he thinks they can play. Again says didn't compete. Got a look at what this team will look like next year, didn't like what he saw.

Only so much complaining, look in the mirror, as a coach, what has he done to contribute to this? Practices not good, he's gotta do a better job. Wonders why they aren't competing. Has to point finger at himself.

On Bittle: Jake's a tough kid, tough play to throw him in, not pointing fingers at him, great kid tough competitor.

Fiegen: He's the rock, most consistent, Says Jacobson is another tough kid, Nagy says he hasn't seen anybody dive on the floor this year ... Need more energy

Need to take a look at this game, frustrated with not seeing things he knows they are capable of doing. Doesn't care who they are playing, just not seeing it, need to get it straightened out.

He says Nate probably won't play Thursday, doesn't know about Prince.

Without Nate and Prince, he says they are capable of playing way better and competing. Need to watch film, etc.

                      Re: Minnesota

Turnovers was really the killer in this one. Not just because they lost a possession but where they took place, which led to tons of easy points. Quite frankly, they looked like a team that lost their All-American point guard.

Bittle had a rough game, but he'll be a better player because of this one. Tough situation for a true frosh.

Though It would have been nice to win this game (or at least be competitive), in the grand scheme of the season, this game doesn't mean much.

Was looking forward to this game for a long long long time only to have Wolters get injured the night before. F***! Game started with much to be desired.

                                Re: Minnesota

So look on the bright side of things. I'm going to sping this to make it sound not so bad. With out one of the best players in the cointry and our 6th man were out going against a top 15 team. So from the frist half to the second half we increased our scoring by 26 points and held the goofers to 8 points less from the first to the second half. So that means we had a 34 point swing in our favor. They didn't increase the lead on us and we socred more points this year then last year if I recall.

All that said it doesn't make this loss feel any better.
