with classes starting this week, will we hear more about players transfering and academic problems and such soon? Its never to early to see how the team and roster shape up heading into spring ball.

Hello I'm his mom. He didn't fall or anything like that . That was just my buddies on the buckeye board doing mama a solid as I have been a long time member of the comm. Yes there was an offer from San Diego, he got the offer in July by Hoke himself, so I advised him to focus on improving his grades and his senior fb season and they said he took too long to commit (so that one is on me, not him) but as we know now that would have only landed him having to go through the recruiting process all over again, so I feel that things happened as they were meant. .

LB TJ Lally has narrowed his choices to Eastern Michigan and SDSU.

                  http://www.kcchronicle.com/blogs/ent...6848/index.xml

St. Charles residents and longtime friends T.J. Lally and Nick Scoliere helped lead the Marmion football team's charge to the IHSA Class 6A state title game this season.

A year from now, both players could be suiting up in different Dakotas. Stay tuned.

Lally, the Kane County Chronicle's Player of the Year, has narrowed his college choices to Eastern Michigan and South Dakota State, he said. He added that Scoliere, a fellow two-way star, is set to visit North Dakota State this weekend.

At least this time of year, no matter how crappy the weather may be is always heating up knowing that signing day is coming soon. Then eventually ground hog day will come.....

I know that in the article it says South Dakota State, but in the rivals page it has offers from Eastern Michigian (campus visit 1/7/11) and South Dakota (campus visit 1/14/11). If in fact the news article is correct why would he be visiting USD this week?

most likely someone somewhere is assuming its the same place. If its not SDSU, hope he chooses the directional michigan school.

The information could be wrong, it definitely wouldn't be the first time someone mixed up USD with SDSU. But I don't see anything wrong with a player having 2 schools he likes and going to visit a 3rd to see how he fits in there. I guess we will see in the next couple weeks.

I'm assuming SDSU will be bringing in another group of players for visits this weekend.

Among them will be DE/DT Justin Jackson from Arizona. Currently we are his only offer but he has a visit lined up with Montana State next weekend.

DT -Justin Jackson, 6'3" 250, AZ Scottsdale - Chaparral

Very excited about Gandy and Butler!

Sounds like a couple of very good recruits.

Burnsville senior Cam Jones has given a verbal to play football at SDSU. The 6-6, 230-pounder will move from QB to TE.

-Great size for a TE, looks to move really well for how tall he is and also looks like he could comfortably add on another 20 lbs.

-We've done a good job of grabbing kids from the Minneapolis metro the past two years. It's always good to build connections with the TC programs.
