A couple Jackrabbits assistants are in Arizona this week in search of players, particularly on the defensive side. The offense is probably done aside from adding one more lineman. Meanwhile, offensive coordinator Luke Meadows is taking some time to start digging into the next recruiting class.

SDSU has yet to land anybody from Arizona in this recruiting cycle, but it remains in the mix for at least one player. Athlete R.J. McGill has an offer from SDSU - he picked it up two weeks ago during a campus visit - and will choose a school after visiting UND this weekend, according to his prep coach. Another Arizona athlete, Brendan Murphy, is believed to have an offer on the table, but I haven't been able to find out where he is at in the process. He reportedly also has an offer from Air Force and has been invited to visit Brown, Navy and Montana.

Says he committed to Montana State Northern. Not sure what that is.

Hamilton wide receiver Ethan Kipili'i committed to Montana State Northern tonight. The sure-handed Kipili'i, who also plays baseball for the Huskies, caught 23 passes for 319 yards and two touchdowns. He earned second team all-region honors despite missing five games due ...

Unless a kid is local or from a metro area we don't have much information on them. This kid has a scout.com profile, but it wasn't ever updated with which schools were pursuing him.

Most of the players that have verbaled this year came out of the blue. We knew SDSU was interested in 6 of the 17, but the other 11 were a surprise.

It's hard to find info for FCS recruits.
