If nothing else, my guess is Sorel is gone from this class.
Cooper is now following Koby Bretz, the player specifically mentioned on the Nebraska podcast that the Jacks would presumably target. I think we're just seeing a courting battle take place. Like now, Vorhees is being followed by the WSU NIL collective and Dan Dykhouse, who I can only hope is somehow involved with NIL.

Later edit: To answer the question. It probably is possible. It could all just be one large recruiting battle. Cooper could also be on people for Idaho. Cooper just followed the former KSU/NDSU DB i mentioned here.Eidsness could be trying to poach people for Northern Illinois now that they're Mountain West. Isaiah Jackson followed Isaiah Hung (3* decommit) and Tak Tateoka (STM transfer who is back in portal) at some point which I assume is him trying to get them for UCD.

Regarding Sorel, Dan Jackson isn't following him but Cooper is. Jackson still isn't following Woods but Eidsness is (this might be another old one from NIU recruiting?). So if this isn't some conspiracy, I assume they're just splitting up the work.

Rich Wright (twitter) (wiki) would have been an interesting hire. The Northwest Missouri State HC's contract wasnt renewed. He was with the school for 21 years and was dline coach and DC before becoming HC. FootballScoop says he's expected to become D2 Central Missouri DC. Followed by Jackson

Eidsness may have been demoted this past year from the OC role, but I'll bet he's learned tons in his 5 years at the FBS level.

JI lists quite a few of our recruiting class as re-affirming. Neither of these guys just yet. Still, the list is pretty encouraging. Isn't Schemenko a dyed in the wool SDSU kid?

I think these players have a pretty good idea who they are going to be playing for. Stig said in his interview with Gaskins that it will take a while to get the staff onboarded through admin and I thought said something to the effect that they'll start working returning players and recruits before anything is official (as we've seen with our outgoing staff doing likewise). Twitter is definitely one tea leave and a savvy user (I don't fit that descriptions) can probably derive a pretty good list of users by looking at our players and seeing who they are following in the last day or so and who is following them back and tying all the pieces together.

Cooper following Benedetto is a little curious

Good call. He is following a ton of players and retweeting multiple Dan Jackson posts.
