I am really excited about Bendetto. I could see him being our head coach someday.

He is also might give us a fighting chance with a big-time recruit. Edward Whiting is a 3 star TE from Jefferson. You would think playing under his old head coach would be appealing.

It's disappointing that media reports still aren't specifying that Benedetto's "college coaching opportunity" is here, but the player portal movement is more specific.

Cooper just followed Bergstrom. We knew that was a possibility.
for reference: Bergstrom was making around $115k last year according to this. 5-6 record the past two years.

For some reason, this surprises me more than Eidsness coming back. Maybe that's just because I wasn't the biggest fan of the co-DC structure. Maybe Bergstrom will do better independently.

I'd be leery as DC, but maybe special teams or secondary, but that move seems unlikely, unless he wants out of OH, right?

it could be the Vandy guy. He added Zimmer to his follow list. Like i said before, either he's coming or Dan has really made an impact in this man's life.

I don't understand the ardent opposition some have to him. Sure, he could falter, but he could also contribute to production we've become accustomed to, if not better

if this turns out to be true, perhaps Mr Goedert can reach out to Baker and Stoffel and other TEs and confirm the role of Eidsness in his growth from an athlete / basketball player to an NFL football player
