Just got to that point, but Zim also mentioned that Olson was offered OL gig at WSU, but he was offered P5 job he didn't want Zim to reveal. Apparently Benedetto made similar request, so that's why Zim didn't officially name him TE coach yet.

He also mentioned Flyger, Augie alum and UND coach as a candidate, with an unspecified Vandy assistant likely joining staff

Maybe we could bring Ryan Grubb back.

    more coaching staff movement

latest 2 follows on Isaiah T Jackson -> Jeff Bowie (transfer from Iowa who Jacks just offered - also following I. Jackson back) and Myles Green Chicago CB who just reannounced commitment to SDSU

Dalton Thomas just followed some portal players mentioned in transfer thread - Jay'Veon Sunday (twitter) that Cooper and Benedetto are following. Dalton is also following the NIU portal CB 4 years eligibility that Jackson also recently followed. Dalton also retweeted Myles Green's re-up.

Brayden Gage also recently followed Jeff Bowie

Cooper and Daniel Mojica, SDSU's Assistant Director of Operations are now following one another which might indicate Mojica is staying in town. Looks like Mojica has been retweeting some player re-ups along the way.

Jonathan Shaeffer had been with the program for a long time. I imagine his presence and contributions will be missed. He also seemed to be the one doing the most amount of following of all the suspected WSU coaches/staff early on. Maybe he'll be Director of Recruiting.

The bit with the UCD transfer being followed recently by the WSU coaching staff has me very curious. Maybe Jackson offered the name up to Rogers' staff. Why did I. Jackson just follow the player now if he had been on the UCD roster all year? Other than Stevens, I'm not sure what WSU kicker/punter situation looks like.

The McShane follow has me interest piqued and so does Large. Either he's following Large because he's involved, or he's following Large because Large will go elsewhere like Wilde and he wants to keep tabs. McShane he followed a day after McShane announced he was coming back (He entered portal Dec 9)

his latest follows (happened today): Tucker Large, Griffin Wilde, a bunch of punter recruits or portal players, Cullen McShane, bunch of Mica Mountain Az hs coaches/players, and then Joshua Justice Gale (UCD player who announced he was heading to the portal Dec 23 and most recently has been followed by Wazzu version of what I'm doing, Chris Meyers, Jake Meange, Taylor Lucas, and Danny Freund).

UCD punter and kicker were both juniors this year.

I'd love to have JI do an offseason pod on general strategies they use to gather "intel" (without revealing too many of their secrets, of course)

probably too soon to tell but perhaps mnjackrbt got 3 of his top 5

I'm getting old. I got things to do but I pop in every once in awhile. Stand tall. Be proud to be a Jackrabbit and we'll be fine. SDSU has been successful with far less resources than we currently have and we always find a way to replace the "best players we've ever had" (think about the past dozen RB1's we've had). And we have Justin Sell, no other University has that Ace.

I trust JI on this one.

As far as the ND media who feels a need right now to focus more on our players leaving than their own players, they don't appear to wait for official words to report things. I don't want to unsubscribe from SF Live/Zimmer but the ND forum crew has been terrible throughout all of this.
Zimmer's coverage is more than worth subscription cost to me, and I'm grateful Happy Hour is airing so I have a more Jacks-centered alternative to Hot Mic.
