Mario Minor DB UC-Davis (twitter) (ucd page) grad transfer 1 year eligibility. Two of his seasons, he played <2 games. I wonder if this is direct from the other Jackson.

Hicks has liked about every return tweet from players and Jackson. I would be surprised if he isn't returning.

Hicks is still an unknown but the other three have confirmed they are returning which is still a good foundation. Jackson is certainly going to dip into the portal to supplement what we have returning. Things sure don't look as bleak as they seemed a week ago.

Hicks is still an unknown but the other three have confirmed they are returning which is still a good foundation. Jackson is certainly going to dip into the portal to supplement what we have returning. Things sure don't look as bleak as they seemed a week ago.

I believe we also have 5 or 6 incoming OL who JI indicates are still committed. Not that freshman OL can be expected to be big contributors but there are at least numbers there. So far, RB, DT, DB and PK are really thin raw numbers wise. With school starting, short time frame, and FBS roster limits not kicking in until the new academic year, we might not see much in the way of portal additions until after spring ball.

Are we positive Vorhees and Woods are gone or we’re just going on rumors from the Fargo media Who are actively cheerleading for us to lose players?

It would definitely suck to lose two stud freshman running backs, but we do have Renfrow from Joplin who was highly regarded coming in and there are a lot of other fellows in that room who might be just waiting for an opportunity

They are on the Bison stooge media list leaked by Bison coaching staff as being listed in the portal as signed. JI indicates they are gone, too. What a shame. I think Wazzu has a number of RBs coming back. We are a little light on RBs. If Angel returns, he'll certainly be the horse. Can't imagine he'll find a better opportunity to showcase his talent than in Brookings.

Hagen tweeted about 10 minutes ago that he's coming back.

It's disappointing to lose guys like Reeder and Francl but at the same time, they are grad transfers, not portal entries. I feel that to some extent grad transfers have fulfilled their obligation to the university and if they have another year and want to play another year and try somewhere else, good for them. If their whole collegiate career has been with this staff, or most of it, its a bit more understandable. I'm equivocating, I know.

Place kicker might be the biggest area of need with JS going to Pullman.

I was surprised to see that Stevens is going to WSU. Saw a report yesterday that he was visiting Iowa, where his older brother kicked. Thought that would be a lock.

JI has those guys as out. They are as connected as anyone so I'd assume they aren't returning at this point.
