Looks like it's been deleted. The tweet was a rabbit symbol - nothing else.

I highly recommend listening to the JI pod. I'm 26mins in, and they mentioned that Ryan McKnight is apparently taking over management of NIL collective. Not saying that completely improves my mood, but it definitely "shines some light" on situation.

The names at work that seemed like a good option Jerry O, and the one that had people interested was Riggs. I would be happy with Riggs and Lujan as my top 2 picks but wouldn't complain with Jerry O. Not sure if Stig would want to rebuild his staff and program. After a year would it be worth it for him. I could see him do it for his love of sdsu.

I would imagine Sell and Co. will narrow down the future HC quickly.... but if there's anyone not 100% going with Rogers regardless of new coach, we're in for a long month here of potential news (or no news) of potential new portal jumpers.

While this sucks, regardless of what happens, we'll be fine. SDSU is a very attractive and successful program. Problem is, success at this level will continue to get stolen... going to have to get used to that unfortunately.
yes - additional 30 days, but I can't see many players waiting that long. Wouldn't the semester start at all universities before the 30 days is up? If you are going somewhere new I would think you would want to be able to participate in spring ball.

    You are correct.

The JI pod ended with them optimistic a new head coach would be named within the next 3-4 days, but they admitted that wasn't due to any insider knowledge.

Here's the link, in case you are either a glutton for punishment or looking for manna from the pods.

I am fixing to listen now, so I cannot attest to the tenor of it yet. Regardless, if you're reading this, JI Crew, I greatly appreciate you posting this.

He has leverage now that he wouldn't if he'd lost semifinal game. Not saying he wouldn't still try to negotiate, but WSU would have grounds for counteroffer.

Zim provides some material to help "walk us back from the ledge," offering 15 coaching candidates. Among those in the article whom I haven't seen mentioned here:
    • Nick Benedetto
      • Excitement about this would be rooted largely in how much confidence we could derive from the stats his NIU defenses had
    • Brian Bergstrom
      • I think if Jacks are considering DII coaches, I'd consider Coach O at Augie my preferred candidate, although Bergstrom seemed like a decent dude during his prior tenure at SDSU
    • Jake Landry
      • I'd have to admit about the only factor that would have me supporting this hire would be that it leaves Bison without an OC
    • Luke Meadows
      • Look at the dude's picture in the bio and tell me you wouldn't be ready to strap on the pads in the stands and cheer for a team he coaches
    • Jerry Olszewski
      • He was complimentary of Jacks when Augie played them earlier in season
    • Kurtiss Riggs
    • Brad Salem
    • Zach Zenner
      • Zim admits offering this one partially in jest, and I'm not sure about Zenner's interest in being a head coach; however, he might be a great option in some consultant role re. NIL/transfer portal given his work as an agent
The other seven include options that have been discussed (e.g., Lujan, Eidsness, Stig, etc.), and Zim asserts his sources say that Lujan is popular among players and admin at SDSU

Also, I'm pulling for y'all vs. Bison

We all wish Jimmy would have stuck around longer but I think most of us knew that he wasn’t going to be Stig and this was going to be his only HC position.

My only issue is that he completely decimated the program on his way out the door.
