Possible. Bittle was chasing Emegano around on Sat night and that no doubt had to have an effect on his game.
Nothing better than "motorboating" the Gophers!

We've got more guys that can score than can play lock-down defense. I'll defer to coach Nagy on this.

I'm guessing it wasn't a directive for him "not to score" but more along the lines that you need to step up your defensive game.

Nagy said this in a post game interview. Bittle said the same thing. So I'm just referring to that. I was surprised as well but that's what they said.

I'd buy that overall but absent a few games I wouldn't say Parks has been asked to chase around a player like Landis. I'd really like to see him be aggressive again without forcing the 3's etc. He's one of the keys to this team making a run for sure. Bittle as well. I spoke with him at Cubby's on Saturday (first trip to Cubby's) and he thought the knee was holding up okay. And speaking of Cubby's that is a lot of TV's in a bar!

Right, I should clarify. Nagy wants Park's to show more versatility. Be an even better all around player. He's taken a lot less shots late in the season and Nagy explained it this way.

I would be surprised if there are any other instructions about not shooting. It is less likely that the starting point guard would draw the toughest defensive assignment. Moffit often is used for more defense when he is in the game as well and he still finds a shot or two.
Parks almost had to concentrate more on defense because he drew the assignment of guarding the opposing team's best scorer during the long period that Bittle was out. Before his injury, I think Jake usually drew that job.

Lately when I have heard Nagy mention Jake's injury, he talks about his Achilles giving him problems more so than the knee.

Obviously we have 3 big games to win this week in sf but this is bleacher reports latest projection of where the the jacks could end up if they do win the SLT. This would be an awesome spot for them because it is close enough there would probably be a large number of jacks fans that go to the game.

It is great to see the players get the recognition for the regular season. Now it is time to continue that success with some players on the tournament team and finish the conference tourney with 3 wins in a row! Go Jacks!!

There is a 7 page insert giving an account of the SLT in the Argus today. Garry and Zimmer must have put in for overtime this week.

Omaha is up on IUPUI 47-43 with 7 minutes remaining.
It would be nice to get Jags out since they seem to give the Jacks fits this year.
