At the game, cheer FOR your team, not against the other team. And any disparaging, personal comments directed at individuals on the opposing team are just out of bounds. Period.

Absolutely, that is something I believe whole heartedly. I actually stood up and yelled at one of our fans who called out an opposing players # and called him a loser, and multiple other unnecessary names at a football game (Georgia Southern I think) earlier this year. Apparently it's common for this fellow to do so and I let him know how classless he is. Didn't shut him up for long, but he sat right down for awhile.
