Well your correct bad calls both ways. It comes down to players making plays and Baylor made one more than us. Congrads but I feel both teams played poorly. Enjoy this as we are young and will be back next year. "FEAR the Rabbit"

I will say the only difference in coaching is when the Baylor coached complained etc.. the refs listened and reacted, the other side did get the same treatment.

spelling errors = tried, a little upset, drank too much and don't care lol :0)

Not even close, sorry... It just frustrated me that you could be so short sited and put any blame on AJ... There was no blame in this game... we came up one shot short... (also you caught me at the end of hearing the ESPN wrapup... I was already a bit steamed)

          AAAAAAAHAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

I give Baylor a lot of credit for hanging in there but I can't help but think that the best team didn't win tonight. What do you do? Just numb right now.

I'm so used to watching the NCAA Tournament and it is the best because of the great finishes and the fact that there is no tomorrow. The great thing is SDSU is participating in that! Right now it hurts being on the wrong side.

There isn't a way to thank these ladies enough for this year! A collection of ladies from the rural midwest. Many from small-town South Dakota going out and competing with the best in the nation. Simply outstanding! Not only that but to lead the nation in GPA at the same time. Thanks for showing us that us South Dakotans can compete with anyone!

It has been a true pleasure. To the seniors, you have continued from our strong D2 tradition and raised the bar! SDSU WBB will be a force for years to come because of your efforts.

QUITE POSSIBLY THE BEST DAY EVER TO BE A JACKRABBIT FAN!!! Thank you!

          GB, GB, GJ!

So if the shot bounces just a tad bit different she isn't a better coach? She is good, very good, but you better realize that AJ is also. In fact, I'll bet a quarter that in 10 years they will both be talked about in the same level. If AJ is still at SDSU I will be one happy alum. Oh yeah, how many assistants do you have? What is the budget down there? And your far superior coach only managed a two point win? Sounds like you guys would be calling for her to be fired if we would have won.

If you're going to blame AJ, or think he got out-coached, do us all a favor:

Grab your bottom lip, pull it up and wrap it over your head, and swallow.

As much as we talk about the players being hungry next year and learning from this game, we also need to realize that AJ and Laurie (and the other coaches) learned a lot from tonight's game and will be better coaches down the road because of it.

This stings more than anything in a long time ...

No question the officials set the tone for the game. But we certainly had our chances to put this thing away late in the game. And forget the long odds, we had the ball and a chance to tie or win it at the very end. It just wasn't meant to be ... this time.

I've never been more proud to be a Jackrabbit! Congratulations to AJ and the team on a fantastic season. You have represented South Dakota State with class both on and off the court!

We've arrived ... we've earned the respect of the nation ... and that is a great feeling!
