    "Far superior?"

    "Yall" don't have a clue.

      Great season Jacks
      Thoughts
-I just thought our defense on last play would be better.
-Plus the inside game was working why didn't we hammer that ? in last 3 min took some weird outside shoots. Plus it looked like they were trying to get Young open for a three.
Oh well Just being Monday Morning quarterback.

-yea refs sucked both ways (more our way) but you have to play above that and we didn't.

-We got out of sinc in last part of first half, that hurt us.

-We got respect of the nation,
-but we should have won but we didn't and that is bottom line.
-We will be back next year and let the women remember this has should make them hungry.

-- we Only lose a couple seniors and have great recruiting class. We be back """FEAR THE RABBIT"" and beware the rabbits are pissed off

I don't think either team played well. Nor were they allowed to.

But...I do think it's ironic how the Rachel Allyson who could not shoot free throws because of her knee injury, was jumping up and down ecstatically when that final shot was made no less than 1 or 2 minutes later.

Edit - already been pointed out...nevermind.
It really would not have mattered it Zachariason missed both FTs, we still won by 2!!!

I cannot believe they did not do anything to slow up Griffin on that last play. Make her give it up. A trap and she has to pass the basketball, and I believe time runs out. Also, would it hurt the Jacks to ever switch things up and go into a zone defense. Their ability to drive hurt us.

All in all, I believe the Jacks were not meant to win this game. I don't know if it was fate, refs, coaching, or players. Griffin averages 6.5 a game and ends up with 21. Making runners and pull up 3's on a dead sprint.

I feel cheated. The Jacks should have won that game and should be going to the sweet 16. I know we can all say "next year", but this was a special team. I am not as optimistic. Sweet 16 is not an easy accomplishment(ask Duke), and we were right on the cusp.

            God am I pissed.

As AJ said about this game it was incredibly even, stats, rebounds, turnovers, incredibly even.

Baylor did great job of being in Jacks trey shot faces. Jacks did a great job of shutting down Baylor's star player. Griffin, their star tonight is a 7 ppg player, she had a personal record night.

We were properly rated at 14-17, and Baylor was a definite top 10 team.

What a great, tight, exciting game to the end. Wanted to extend the season, but there is R-E-S-P-E-C-T for the Jacks.

And I'll say it again. Jill contributes to the offense even when she's not shooting. She knows how to punish a defense for overplaying the perimeter.

It wasn't available for her tonight because she was on the bench.

Well, I just deleted my post but glad it made somebody laugh.

This is certain: We've come of age. The days of just plain sneaking up on a team who overlooked us probably ended two or three seasons ago. The days of a team taking us seriously but maybe not preparing 100% for us, ended early this season. From now on, teams facing us will be deadly serious.

                    We are big-time.

It's what we've all wanted and this team delivered.

                    Go Jackrabbits!

That's right.....KIM > AJ. The last play of the game was a designed play...genuis. Don't hate, APRRECUATE!!!!!

I'll agree with that. Jill is probably the second best (arguably the best) offensive player besides Wark.

Wow, you're coaching was far superior? Did you watch the game? When our team is less talented as you, not saying we don't have talent but we don't get McDonald's All-Americans, and we play you to within 2, I'm pretty sure you weren't "far superior"

Should have been going inside all night. Outside shot was not there and as long as the refs were calling fouls, you got to put the ball inside. A couple of our players needed to stop shooting the ourside shot. It wasnt falling. Also, I hate it when AJ has Maci stall the ball, like he had her at the end of the first half. Did that at confernece tourney as well and it allways ends in a rushed shot with no points. Cant see how AJ cant see that.

                            Great season.

I can't believe that you would say Mulkey was far superior in the coaching tonight. AJ did an awesome job coaching tonight as he has done all season long. I realize you support and honor your coach, but I can't believe you would come on here and make such a bold claim. Did you watch the same game that I did????

Big here is the thing... all of us, well most of us SDSU fans have a ton of respect for Baylor and after tonight I think several of us will be seriously pulling for you to keep winning... But right now it hurts.. and like any typical person, when something hurts you pick at the parts that hurt the worst... right now what hurts me the most.. can't speak for everyone is the fact that the Jacks were SERSIOULY pulling away in the first half and then the chip fouls started getting called... 10 of them before the first 10 minutes of the game.... does that not happen we are up 25-2? I believe before you score your first bucket...

The refs evened it up... but the damage had already been done...

The second half was a battle..there were terrible calls both ways... if you read my posts when your player went down with her injury I was the first one to say I HATE TO see that...

But... I will never agree that she should have been able to run over, well hobble over... and not shoot those shots... that is like ripping the bandaid off ...

I believe we were the better team, you just made the last shot. Let us bitch.. that is why we are here and not over on your board...

at least I hope there are no fans over on Baylors board bitching... well if there are... deal with it.. but still..

Good luck going forward... I hope allison is seriously ok...
