When Macy graduated I thought we would never be able to replace her. When Mia graduated I thought we will never be able to replace her. Can we replace Paige in the future? She is a hoot to watch. What a stud.

What a disciplined team tonight. I imagined a slow start, but it turned out to be a damn good ball game for the ladies.

This group is incredible. How many teams could weather these storms and stay at the top? They’re playing their hearts out every single game.

FORTY straight regular season conference wins.

Also one of the Meyer’s deserves POY over Larkins when you watch them head to head.

we have just been blessed with a lot of amazing players. Paige and Brooklyn seem on the verge of joining Macy and Myah and many others on the all time list. Macy, Myah, and for me Warkenthien are kind of the top of that list in the D1 era. all 3 of those led us to NCAA tourney wins. will Paige and Brooklyn do that too?

Five pretty good freshmen, all from SD coming in next year. Won a national AAU tournament in Chicago last summer. Abdouch, Fox and Vasecka all have the potential to be very good guards.

I think that happened last year.
PS Paige has been an important starter 3 years.

I think winning this one meant a lot to AJ. He almost looked a little teary eyed in the TV interview..

Jacks S&C staff is years ahead of JSD, Jacks players don't wear down like other teams. Verbal bob, turds and JSD better make the tourney this year; because no one is touching this Jacks team next year with Timmer, Theisen and all the freshman.

This years team may deserve the all-time effort award, just compete every night against insane adversity. Super proud of them and fans need to show their support.

A group of 7 scholarship players did that to a full USD team on their home floor.

Someone should be filming a documentary about this team. It will be a hell of an accomplishment if AJ and staff can find a way to literally limp them to the NCAA Tournament.

Byom is gaining confidence game by game, she keeps getting better. I tell myself to not do it (looking forward to next year); but Meyer, Byom and Theisen is a post lineup that likely no one in the Summit has ever had.

Jacks don't play again until next Saturday at ORU. The time off couldn't come at a better time after what the team has gone through in the last 48 hours. ORU will be tough, with the fast pace they play at. After that, 4 of the last 6 are in Brookings. With 4 games against the bottom 4 in the league.

well Paige was hurt for the Postseason as a Freshman. i was not trying to say she is not an accomplished player already. Paige had some good moments in the ncaa games last year, but i hope she has some bigger games ahead of her. the whole team was kind of riding on Myah's shoulders in the two ncaa games

Colbeck & Byom each picked up about 10 minutes on the floor. Hopp found the 2nd foul early and she could have easily picked up another 10 minutes. This is an illustration of how well these coaches recruit and coach those recruits. The team has 1 week to prepare for the next, and likely most difficult, road trip to Tulsa. It is likely Musick will want to bring the full court pressure on the made baskets.
