  • If the team needs a transfer in the next two years, Maggie Hartwig 6'1" F, sister of the latest volleyball verbal commit (Mallory), will have 2 years of eligibility (she's not in the portal). Look at her stat lines. She's going to go somewhere. Best player on a 4-11 Evansville team. 16.9ppg 8.9rebounds on 40/33/83. Her parents are both former Evansville athletes. (espn) (evansville page)

We've been spoiled by Paige Meyer's PG excellence; need to keep recruiting that skill set.

When Abdouch is in the picture next season, who's the better PG, her or Fox ? I'm guessing that Fox is playing this season because she is more physically ready.

I have to think Fox is more natural at 2 with her consistentcy from 3. She has great vision and bb IQ and can certainly do the job at PG but to me, their skill sets would be best utilized with Abdouch at PG and Fox at the 2 getting more open looks from 3. Brooklyn, Timmer, Vaseka, MM/Fox and Abdouch would be pretty fun, athletic group to watch!

it will be interesting to see if we play more 4 out. that is not something we have ever done a lot of. we could do it easily with Myah because she was so good both inside and outside. would Vasecka be the starting 4? she has the height. i dont know if she could go the whole game primarily guarding a post player

in your group of 6 both Fox and Abdouch are undersized. maybe Kolbeck gets more minutes because she can defend bigger guards

we lose a lot of size this year with Mesa, Kallie, and Maddie V all graduating. who is going to take those minutes? I dont believe incoming Felchle is ready to play big minutes next year. maybe i am wrong. is Hillary ready to go? Hopp is not tall but she plays a physical game and has shown the ability to rebound. I DO believe incoming Thul has a great chance to be in the rotation

I have no doubt that AJ will have a good plan and probably already does. it will be interesting, but we are kinda just getting started on this year so maybe we should take them one season at a time. i know I will be sad to see Mesa, Kallie, and Maddie go so I am trying to enjoy having them this final year

Abdouch and Fox are both taller than Paige. Sheppard and Dunn also get added to the mix next year . Hopefully Behrens can make a jump next season as well. She missed a season plus of playing competitive basketball. It's tough for her to crack the rotation with all the experience ahead of her, but it could be a different story a year from now.

the issue is more with both of them on the floor together. Paige has always had a bigger partner in the back court who could guard bigger players on the other team. it will be interesting to see how many minutes they are on the floor together going forward. I am sure they will be, but when we play outside of conference, especially, good teams will try to take advantage.

68 names are on the West list and 68 names are on the East list. Pretty big accomplishment!

just from what I've seen on twitter, all of creighton's 4 recruits, 3 Illinois, 2 of Indiana's, 3 purdue, 1 michigan, 3 washington, etc are on the list

                      • Good for her and the Jacks!!! Interesting that Felchle and Thul have been all-staters for a couple years and Hoselton was honorable mention all-state last year!! This according to Gojacks signings 11/13/24. Another great class coming in!!
