Brooklyn posted on Instagram today that she’s coming back for next year.

Meanwhile I'm hearing Hopp may go to USD. I get wanting more playing time but why would you want to join that dumpster fire?
She would probably start for them!

With Timmer and Hopp out of the game they could use someone who can run the floor and is physical enough to go hard in the paint. I feel there’s good shooters on the team but they need an athlete

I'm not saying we don't have enough talent on the team as we sit right now to win the summit next year. I am saying we are one or two injuries from having 10 girls on the roster with a lot of them being freshman.

I am guessing we will go after Meister. I’d gladly take her and an experienced athletic guard/PG. Maybe a forward who can help us spread the floor as well. I’m excited to see our young kids develop next year but there will be some bumps in the road with the lack of experience.

There are some high potential options at PG, but very little experience. Bringing a veteran in would be a big help early in the season, especially with the tough non-conference schedule we normally have.

And AJ gets a chance to fine tune his roster. It’s an advantage to be able to do that. He is very high on his redshirts. What he adds or doesn’t ad says a lot about the team he thinks he has. In AJ I trust.

This is a huge opportunity for some younger girls on the roster to show their abilities and AJ will get them ready!

If not for her injury, she would have been done this spring. At least now she will get at least some of her MBA paid for. I wish Haleigh nothing but the best!

I am sure we all know that he was more than aware. dont you think anyone ever spoke to her about what she was thinking? not from a planning and protecting the program point of view, but from a they clearly care about her and all of the players standpoint. someone surely was checking how they can help her pursue her goals

it never came up that she was gonna go? I REALLY believe AJ and staff and Sell, etc... would have very much wanted her to go through Senior day and get the recognition that she deserves

that is what makes me feel like something must have changed

regardless of any of that. she needs no permission or validation, obviously. It has been a BIG pleasure to watch her!!! sucks we only got to watch her for 3 seasons. wish her nothing but success

Maybe she didn't want all the trappings? Distraction going into the post season? Nothing wrong with an Irish goodbye
