Come on now. Its West River basketball and Sturgis on top of that. Don't think too hard into it

I'm surprised they have 5 kids go out for BB in Sturgis, aren't they a wraslin school?

Broman brothers get a little TV feature about their work with a kids' BB camp (or something like that):

Their bball program has improved quite a bit over the past 6-8 years. Will John Johnson was a 1,000 point, 1,000 board guy for BHSU (holds record for rebounds) and Seth Bachard is a sophomore at Northern State right now. So its not as if they don't exist, but you are right it is way more of a wrestling school then a bball school.

Anders Broman put up 60 today in a loss. 14 for 22 on threes. Most NCAA players couldn't do that if you let them shoot unguarded in an empty gym.

I can't wait to see this guy next year. Lets hope the scoring production does not slow down. Hopefully, he comes with defense skills, which would get him playing time on arrival.

Lane Severyn broke the single-season scoring record for Pierre HS last night. He had 20 points in opening round of Districts.

Orion Thompson is the head coach for the Scoopers. He used to be an assistant coach at Dakota State and he was a pretty good coach.

Pierre had a big comeback win last night. Sounds like Severyn played a big part.

Another new article on Broman. I like the sound of his work ethic. There are probably going to be a lot more late-night shooting sessions at Frost. From the article:

"It’s mid-afternoon on a recent weekday at St. Scholastica’s Reif Gymnasium, and Anders Broman is in the middle of a shooting workout that won’t finish until he has made 400 shots.
That’s nothing unusual for the Lakeview Christian Academy senior, who has spent six days a week for the better part of five seasons honing his shooting in workouts that began in pre-dawn hours at the Duluth YMCA and since have continued in more accommodating daylight at a college gymnasium. That’s in addition to regular team practices and games."

This article explains why I think Anders will be ready to play right away and won't be redshirted. If you look at the picture, you can tell he's been putting plenty of hours in the weight room as well.

Good call. Missed that one. I have seen other videos and pictures of Anders though and he really does look like he's hit the weight room though. Bjorn must be participating in those workouts too.
