No doubt about it, but you have to like his natural ability to block shots. He has real good timing and elevates quickly (he does swat down a little too much though). He reminds me of a taller Matt Jones in that regard, as I was always amazed how fast he went from the ground to the top of his jump.

At the 3:55 mark in the video I posted, Reggie stuffs a Zach Hanson baby hook (generally a tough shot to block), and most of us are aware of how good Zach is.
If you think nobody cares about you, try missing a couple of payments.

It's a lot tougher to teach shotblocking due to the physical ability needed than it is to teach offensive moves. So it IMHO him, not having much of an offensive game but being a very good shotblocker doesn't bother me at all. That is what his senior year and redshirt season is for

If the coaching staff is serious about both Lynch and Woodward,a package deal might help land them if they are buddies - which isn't always the case with high school team mates.

It's interesting that Lynch (MN Magic) and Woodward (MN Pump n Run) play on different AAU teams.

At the 3:26 mark the black team is the Dakota Schoolers. Reggie looked like he held his own on a couple posessions vs Zach Hanson.

Hey all. Still hanging around from when SDSU was interested in recruiting my kid. Joined the forum and sort of became a fan. I saw both Lynch and Hanson play several times this year. Lynch is the best shot blocker in Minnesota without question. He would more than hold his own against Hanson in my opinion. Would be a tough call as to which I would take. Lynch is a very tough defender and his offense is coming around. He would be a fantastic catch for the Jacks but I know he has a bunch of other schools interested, most recently the Gophers.

Your son must be Carter Evans from Rochester. Illinois State will be coming to watch him and Zach Wessels from Austin, MN. This is according to Ryan James twitter account. Haven't seen any interest in these kids from State recently.

I'd say it is being that Hooker had a lot of DI options. I personally would never want to play basketball at a hockey school, but to each his own. Got to give Brian Jones and staff credit for a good get.

Yeah who knows. He did have numerous offers, and the story I was hearing that he had planned on taking numerous visits, so for him to forgo visits and to commit to UND you have to tip your cap to them. Not too often are they winnings recruiting battles with NDSU and SDSU (as well as about a dozen others who have offered)

This makes no sense to me.

Well if you go to the first post in this thread, there is a link to a list of offers SDSU has out. Quniton Hooker is on that list, but now that he accepted a scholarship to UND, he can be taken off the list.
