    Re: NDSU Big Win

Up until the start of the Big 10 portion of the WI schedule he was getting anywhere from 5 to 18 mins with a majority of the games he averaged about 10 to 12 mins. The Big 10 season he got the following minutes:

    Iowa - 5 minutes
    MSU - 12 minutes
    Minn - 23 Mins
    Northwestern - 25 mins
    Ohio State - 33 mins

The Minnesota game was a breakout game for him and started the trend of him getting more minutes. Conversly Marcus Landry's minutes started to dwindle while Krabbenhofts increased. It would seem to me that the UW coaching knew they had some issues with some athletes and most likely knew they were going to loose their services.

I gladly accept our current reality and maybe we won't make the tournament for a while, but victories like NDSU had today will be in the Jacks future. I think that means as much or more than any NCC Championship or DII National Championship! I hope you feel better getting all that off your chest.

Hey JackassguyII........I was the third person in this thread to post that UW had some players out.  You choose to come after me with your comments and no one else.  I'm not in love with DII basketball or the NCC as you insinuate.  Keep firing away though if it makes you feel any better.

Your right others did post about the players who were out and I should have made more of a general statement. You got a lot of basketball knowledge which I appreciate, but face it you can be a bit of an ass yourself.

On a bright note Joe Krabbenhoft played another solid game and posted 11 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists.
The caliber of NDSU? Ouch, that may not be the best thing to say considering the beating NDSU layed on SDSU. I'm not wanting to post smack here and wish SDSU the best all the time except when they play us but not a real smart comment. :-/

              Re: NDSU Big Win

I guess I didn't read Cadsev as a slam against NDSU.  I am reading his post about 'the caliber of NDSU' as meaning a team so early in the transformation from Div II to Div I and with the young players on the team.  If a team like Wisconsin would have lost to SDSU, I probably would have said the same thing. I'm very happy for NDSU for this win.
Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!--Bluto--

                bisonbacker,
I wouldnt take cadsev's point too seriously or as any type or representative view of SDSU fans. He's not a Jacks fan either. Congratulations to the Bison!! They couldnt have picked a better team (Badgers) to take down.

I promise to call Coach Miles today and personally congratulate him, I'll even call Todd, Saul and Dave. When Coach Richmond sends me the mass email explaining the victory I'll even read it to make everyone on this site happy. The next time I'm in Fargo I'll take the entire staff out to dinner and we can all have a group hug. Congrats NDSU on your win.......I am hopeful in the future you have more. SDSU will some day experience a huge win on the road against a high major opponent. It will shock the world and you can bask in the glory of beating a quality opponent. I promise to remain positive on this site, share positive comments and not take away from victory such as the one yesterday so we can all live in harmony.

                    Cadsev -

There are many of us here who aren't frequent posters who do appreciate your knowledge of the basketball climate in the area. Whether you offer a dissenting opinion or not.

youre right, cadsev isnt a sdsu fan. he's also not a usd fan, augie fan, sf university fan. hes a damn basketball fan, college and high school. i take everything he says seriously because he knows a lot about basketball and the kids playing in high school, college and the ones coming up from the jv level. and i get tired of him getting bashed when he wants to post something meaningful in here.

I agree, please keep posting Cadsev, your input is great. With out some outsider opinion, The board would get pretty boring with just the rose colored glasses attitude and links to the jacks articles in the Argus and other websites.

I also appreciate an unbiased opinion Cadsev, please continue to give your insight. I'm not sure why jackguyII has to bash every post you make, but I think his opinion is in the minority here.

Congrats on the big win Bison, it was great to see the huge exposure for you guys on ESPN, hopefully we can have a similar experience next year.

I have not bashed every Cadsev posting in fact I have supported him up till last night when I thought his post was minimizing the Bison win. So get your facts straight.
