I'll join in welcoming the families of players to the board. I was talking to one of the parents of one of the women's players, and they told me that they were discouraged (by someone, not sure who--NCAA or SDSU--doesn't really matter) from actively participating (i.e. posting) on discussion boards.

I can understand where this comes from. People on Internet boards can get, um, argumentative, and hard feeling can easily result.

So, with the welcome, I hope players, coaches, and their families take a bit of advice from an old hand at the Internet: Accept the praise, and ignore the rest. Or, as the saying goes, don't get into a wrestling match with a pig (or an argument with an Internet "troll&quot--the only result is you'll get dirty, and the pig/troll will enjoy it.

Real Rabbit fans are delighted that Kai Williams and the rest of the Jackrabbits decided to continue their basketball careers and get an excellent higher education at South Dakota State University--win or lose, good or bad.

You're family to us, and we take that seriously.

Last time we played Arkansas St. in Jonesboro two years ago they mounted a quick 37 point lead early in the second half. It is great to see that will not be the case tonight. The boys are moving in the right direction. Get that win tonight!!
