And he seemed pretty cocky for the one shot he did make.

Congrats on the win last night. You guys executed better and we did not have enough to take you down. Good Luck in the NCAA Tourney. Represent the Summit well and see what happens.

If the official that called the T wasn't from SD, it's tougher to call him a homer. I wonder if they know that the officials that did the championship game this year are the same officials that did the game last year? He was good enough last year but this year he favored the team from SD. I guess you only complain if you lose.

The Summit League head of officials was there and he wouldn't put him the the championship game if he wasn't the best that the conference has.
I have no idea where the official was from but it wasn't Kelly Pfeiffer. And, even if it had been, I can assure you it would not have been because he has love for SDSU.

Bison fans will whine no matter what. They'll say "home of the Bison" forever. I don't see any reason to show them respect as a group. We had some very pleasant and knowledgeable Bison fans in our area, granted, they were from SD.

Example, after the SDSU semifinal victory several of them were complaining about the call on Bittle and calling Parks a moron for making contact with the Denver player at the end. Saying the ref "had to make that call". Then last night, a group were laughing off the loss as "homer refs and homer atmosphere" and commenting on how they aren't use to close games because their football team usually has it won by halftime. Finished by commenting about Jackrabbit football losing in the first round every year.

I have ZERO time for them and won't waste one second trying to earn their respect or admiration. The less I see of them the better.

Great win by the Jackrabbits, contributions in some way, shape and form from every player. Mike Daum is something special and I'm glad we have him.

I was talking about UWMandSDSU...his jump shot is ****.

Miller is a good shooter. No opinion on whether he'd make a good Jack. Just happy he was on the floor last night.

But Lakes has a great story going on the internet that it was a homer call which resulted in a 5 point swing in favor of SDSU. How can a fellow of such high intellect as LakesBison be wrong.

As for it being homer atmosphere, NDSU fans can buy tickets just like SDSU fans do. USD fans can buy tickets just like SDSU fans can. And if the advantage was so awesome, how the heck did we not go to the NCAA tournament last year? How have the Bison gone 3 times? How did Oakland go two years in a row? The best thing that has happened to the Summit League was their inviting SDSU, NDSU and IPFW in the late 2000s and the addition of USD and Omaha recently. The second best? Moving the tournament to Sioux Falls. Watch the other conference games on ESPN. Most mid-majors are playing to half, or less than half full arenas. That tournament is not leaving Sioux Falls anytime soon. The Bison need to get used to traveling south.

So I went to Watch ESPN for a replay of last night's game. Got it started with no problems. Got to the first media timeout and then got 20 plus minutes of commercials, many of them repeated 3 and 4 times. Then finally got back to the game, but it went back to the beginning of the game. Thought I would try the women's game - got to the first break and quit after 9 minutes of commercials with no end in sight. Anyone else have these problems ?

I went back and watched this. He was just upset because he wanted the ball. Nothing wrong with that. He celebrated when Dupree made it.

Nagy was on with Dan Barreto of KFAN Twin Cities who is IMHO a great interviewer.

Yeah! His right hand guy, Justin Gaard, was tweeting about the game last night.

Hard to believe that in a span of around 15 years, the Summit League has gone from playing in half-full high school gyms to consistently setting attendance records in a fantastic state-of-the-art facility (warped panels notwithstanding) and out-selling some "Major" D-I conferences .

Scott was also interviewed on SiriusXM College Sports Nation earlier today. Great interview. He commented on how unique & special his situation is at SDSU. He discussed the fact that over 10,000 people showed up last night for a Mid-Major final. He also tipped his hat to our players. Great interview coach.
