doesn't look big enough to play basketball in, plus the owners may not like a big crowd in there.

What a pleasure to watch the game on FirstRow and spending much of this evening reading about it. The press everywhere has said something about the game.

All right, everybody, I'll come clean. I always wear an SDSU shirt on game days. The day of the Belmont game, I didn't.

My bad, OK? I won't do it again.

YFE, What do you expect the ticket situation to be for Jacks fans who might plan to attend. It's a long drive, but I do have a three day weekend.

Was not impressed that the AP didn't quote Nagy once.

However, at least it appears that UNM gave the Jacks time at the press conference.

But, what Alford did, pulling those guys from the starting lineup? Nagy would've done the same thing. Those guys obviously didn't respect the Jacks or their teammates enough to get to the arena on time, and guess what happened....

Wolters played 35 minutes. Kendall Williams played 34, averages 34.5; Chad Adams played 25, averages 22.3 minutes per game.

No more a factor than a two-day bus ride was.

Break down the 'Kendall Williams didn't start' argument:

Because Kendall Williams didn't start, the Lobos lost (you will find this argument being made on Lobos boards).

Kendall Williams misses the first 5:33.

At that time, the score was 10-5 SDSU (or thereabouts), and there was 34:27 of basketball remaining.

But, the argument goes, a team that is ranked #16 in the country, will be unable to erase a FIVE POINT deficit over the course of 34:27 of basketball, because their star player did not start.

In short, if Kendall Williams does not start, the first five minutes of the game will decide the outcome.

Shorter: The team's play without Williams decides the outcome.

                                Shorter still: Williams is irrelevant.
