Ouch on both...hope it's doesn't happen. Don't mind the 13 seed....but playing WI not good. I'm guessing that Bo and Will would have some long conversations prior to the game if it did happen.

Well, he has the other 4 seeds as Indiana, Florida State, and Wichita State. You picks your poison and you takes your chances. Gotta beat WIU first.

Here's another take. My Rodney Dangerfield reaction is leaping higher and higher. Only good news is may send the Jacks to Omaha, which is WONDERFULLY CLOSE to Jackrabbit Nation.

If SDSU, Missouri, and Kansas all wind up in Omaha, not to mention St. Louis and Purdue, there will not be an empty seat in 18,300-seat CenturyLink Center. (SDSU people had better be prepared to pay top dollar for a ticket, however, if this comes about).

Tack a zero or two to the end of that, depending on where you want to sit.

And yes, I'm serious about those two zeros--if you want really, really good seats.

(OK, upon consideration, maybe not $1500 for quality center-court seats, but quite possibly $500, if KU, MU, and SDSU all go to Omaha).

                Personally, I like this seed....

                http://www.omnirankings.com/mcb/2011...%20Bracket.htm

Has Jacks as 11 seed, playing California (PAC-12, 2nd place, behind UW), in Columbus, OH.

Does the men's side require a team to NOT play at a home site? Women's thrives on a host school going to their home site.

Yes, men's teams can not play at their home arena.

Hoping for SDSU to end up in either Omaha or Albuquerque..they are both within "reasonable" distance for me and probably other Jacks fans. How accurate are the Omni rankings and CBS bracketology?

How is Albuquerque within a reasonable distance if you live in SD?

For the sake of the team and the fan base, I hope they get Omaha. For my own selfish sake, I hope its Portland! Just a 6.5 hour drive from here.

I’ve been to a couple of opening round sessions. As I recall, the general public can get tickets to all four sessions. But if you buy tickets through your school, you only get tickets to those sessions where your school is playing. So, for the first afternoon session, four teams will have designated seating areas. Then in the evening session, those seats are filled by fans from the four additional teams that will be playing that night. Folks from the general public will have tickets to both the afternoon and evening sessions. And I think the fans from the losing teams who got their tickets through the school won’t have any tickets for the second day.

Rabbits can always find Alburquerque, we just get lost after that......

I live on the western side of South Dakota..going fast I can get to Albuquerque in about 10-11 hours. Omaha is about 7 hours for me (driving fast.) So thus, these would be most reasonable. Better than the estimated 20 hour drive to Nashville!
