    @TerryVandrovec
    Terry Vandrovec
Serkout Aware of Washington High and Alex Schnell from Rapid City Stevens will walk-on at SDSU. Working to confirm a couple more.

Terry lists a couple preferred walk-ons. Says he's working to confirm a couple more.

      Serkaut Aware, 5'10" 165 - SF Washington
My guess is that he is being brought in as a cornerback.

      Alex Schnell, 6'3" 205 - RC Stevens

Alex Schnell could turn out to be very good down the road. I think if it hadn't been for a couple of knee injuries he would have been a scholarship player for sure.

Aware could be a heck of a return specialist. He seemed to do real well at WHS returning.

Also per TV Patrick Schuster from Watertown will be a preferred walk on.

Looks like another late get in Joe Martinson 5'11" 170 4.57 40 from Orlando per TV. We beat out Illinois State and Florida International.

Had 9 interceptions his junior season, runs a 4.57:

Central Florida #44 out of 60 considered "one of the area's best cover corners"(ball hawk)

And an interview before the season at a high school media day event:

They don't have us confused with USD do they? Florida hasn't really been a pipeline for SDSU, but has been for USD. I guess we will find out tomorrow.

Okay, I'm biased because I'm from Watertown and I've watched Schuster for years -- but, this is a great get for SDSU. Very good, all-around athletic skills and a tough guy, who happens to be one of the top students in his class.

I wondered that, but Rivals has became a lot better about that, and I remember hearing something about them expecting to get a kid out of Florida.

Do you have more details, what position would you project him at?

This is a huge class, not only in talent, but also in size. So far 25 commits counting preferred walk-ons and I would guess at least 2-3 that we haven't heard of so far.

Playing in a high class in Florida isn't probably to far off from playing college football. Sounds like another great get. The coaching staff has done a great job recruiting this year, especially coming off our worst season in DI.

This kid is a player. He is so natural, with instinctive skills. Great find for the 'Bits. Playing ball in Florida is another level of talent we don't get in the midwest for high schools. He could be a player who could make immediate impact.
