For your sake I hope that is false, DII games don't count, it pretty much means you have 10 games to find at least seven wins instead of having 11. That just magnifies an already difficult schedule for your team.

Exactly my concern. I'd rather have a loss against a DI team because then at least you had a chance to get a win against a DI team. I know it is extremely difficult to get teams to travel when you have a good program but we need to find a way. Even if it means swapping some of the money from the FBS games.

I agree completely, I'd rather lose to a FBS school than play a D2 for a gimme win. At least with the FBS game you get the 300k payout and some help with recruiting.

I think the USD game begins THIS year. It is just a gut feeling, but given the availables for the open dates - no one will draw like USD. As much as I have been against it, I believe that we MUST fill with them. Depending on when it falls - it should be one of the 3 biggest draws of our home year. While we're at it - let's raise ticket prices 3x for that game. They've been dogging us about dodging them - let's make them pay ON the field and TO GET ONTO the field.

It's not a No-win situation, I'll take the gate revenue and the victory. We can debate until the game what their excuses will be - how we should have won by more regardless of the outcome, etc. Fill the date and bring on the Yotes.

Give'em their wishes. (we can remind them later to be careful what you wish for) Go Jacks!!!

I'm pretty sure USD's AD said that football would not resume in 2010 because of factors on both sides. I may be wrong, but it seems to me that it was during a television spot in which they spoke with both AD's. Think it was on KDLT, not sure.

I feel 2010 would be a good year to resume the game with the Yoties since we do not get any of what I call "The Big Three" (NDSU, UNI, or SIU) at home.

It would be great for the gate.

USD has already announced a full 11 game season for 2010. So the Jacks will not be playing them in 2010.
