That is what a lot of people say, but we were 8-0 against teams in the GPI top 40, have victories over two of the playoff teams, and have maybe one of the best running backs, o lines, and wide recievers in the country. We also beat Cal Poly pretty convincingly. To be fair, I have watched you guys all season, and I think that Cal Poly game was incredibly uncharacteristic of the talent you guys have...it was just a down game, sorta like when we nearly lost to Idaho State.

You and NDSU, and many others. Unfortunately for a while we did that quite a bit. Its unfortunate, and unlike a lot of Griz fans, I won't try to defend it. I wish we hadn't done it, but maybe this playoff game can influence some sort of series between us (I can dream). I have been watching you guys for some time..ever since we took NOCO over you (bad idea). Just sorta wish we didn't have to play in the first round so both teams could have a chance to make some noise in the playoffs. If you weren't playing us, I would be pulling for you...but since you are, I can't. I will say, that even though we are the 1 seed...We probably got the toughest first round draw.

11-0, Wins over two playoff teams, undefeated in the 2nd toughest conference in the country. Its a pretty good resume. 11-0 isn't easy. In the interests of full disclosure, I didn't expect the 1 seed, but I knew that we could get it. I had SIU as my predicted #1.

OK, OK, let's all simmer down and welcome our guest. Montana is 11-0. And they got the top seed as the only undefeated. And, frankly, it doesn't matter which seed you get...just that you get one. But, Monster, as a peace offering, I have a solution: We can play Saturday in Brookings. That way the Griz can make up for stiffing us a few years back. It seems like a win-win, right? Everybody's happy and justice is served! You tell the Montana administration.

It's tough for me to justify Weber over UNI; timing being the key factor in excluding the 7-4 Panthers over 7-4 Weber. Had UNI lost to ISU earlier in the year.....

I think we need to chill out a little bit, Grizmonster isnt UM's AD, he's just a fan coming on the board to say hello. I'm pretty sure he had nothing to do with Montana backing out on a contract and may even have been unhappy about it. Maybe we should welcome other "FANS" not be jerks to them.

I'm afraid I can't return GrizMonster's generosity of spirit toward SDSU.

Except to say Montana is a beautiful state, and I wish I could spend more time in it.

Other than that the only olive branch I can offer Griz Monster is that the first NCAA tournament game I can remember was Montana vs. UNLV in '89, I think. Wanted the Griz to beat Jerry Tarkenian.

Didn't happen, but Montana played them pretty close the first 15 minutes or so
