I dont know if I'm just this slow in finding this out or what but the thing I haven't people mention yet that I just read in the Collegian today is that not only do we return a bunch of guys on defense, we also return all top 8 tacklers from last season. I think that is a reason to believe that we have the possibility of having a dominant defense this year.

JumpTV is using Microsoft's Silverlight plugin, same thing that Netflix uses. And it seems to work pretty well for me (watched GSU's coaches show on it). Of course that's assuming JumpTV's servers aren't overwhelmed on Saturday as they often have been in the past.

One year on, and let's hope they've scaled up their systems to handle the load.

Boy does this really stink: just found out that my daughters soccer schedule was sent out with incorrect times; instead of 3:00 Saturday afternoon they will be at 5:45. I guess that means no night games for me until NDSU.

Still at the mercy of JumpTV servers, no matter what plugin architecture they use. Silverlight does seem to work nicely for Netflix, with their kabillion servers and limitless bandwidth. We'll see about JumpTV.

I drove 15 hours to and back from Lubbock, TX and stayed 4 nights in the same hotel room with my mother and father-in-law and my 7 year old daughter to see the Jackrabbits play. You need to suck it up and be at CAS tomorrow.
