I highly recommend listening to the JI pod. I'm 26mins in, and they mentioned that Ryan McKnight is apparently taking over management of NIL collective. Not saying that completely improves my mood, but it definitely "shines some light" on situation.

That's his son. Kurtiss discussed him working for DeBoer with Huskies and then going to AZ to coach in interviews

Pete Thamel already has him pegged as top QB in portal, so he shouldn't be limited to WSU, if he plays one more college season.

Hearing some of our former players have been key the last 24 hours in talking to current players Jimmy wanted to take with him to convince them to stay in Brookings. Not going to name names but put them in the SDSU HOF immediately. True Jackrabbits!

A number of current players are tweeting their commitment to the program. A good sign. So far, no one has publicly they are leaving or portalling, other than the two big ones. We'll no doubt lose some current players and recruits but I'm hopeful this won't be as bad as some initially feared.

I've heard that as well. Also heard that several current players were given offers to go to WSU. If this is true, that it is real dick move on Jimmy's part. I know that will offend a lot of people who are patting Jimmy on the back as he exits Brookings.

WSU's starting QB, who just threw for 350 yards and 3 TD's last week, is hitting the portal. You wouldn't think Jimmy would run him off unless he has an established QB lined up.

He has bigger potential than that. Wouldn't be surprised If PJ Fleck, who has already brought in 15 - 20 portal players, tries to bring him back to the Twin Cities.
