Well it they open the hold stadium each school would get equal number of tickets. I know when we played the team north of y'all they sold out their tickets then bought tickets on our side.
They try to buy as many tickets to our home games too. sadly we have let to many of he humped cows fans graze through our stadium. Hopefully a national championship will help SDSU get more Jacks fans in the stadium so we can dismantle the furry cows at home next year.

quite a few theories have been postulated here, regarding the keys to victory
OF COURSE winning the line of scrimmage is huge. i mean duh? if you can consistently win the LOS on both sides of the ball for 4 quarters, your chances of winning the game are MUCH better. but the thing is, what exactly is winning the LOS, generally somebody wins it on each play, but sometimes you can lose part of the LOS as long as you win the battle in one spot to either make a play succeed or to screw it up.
i will quit trying to cover all the possibilities. hard to make a good comparison between the O Line for JMU and the jacks, but i think we will have the best O Line they have played against, with JMU being the closest
they will likely have the best D Line we have played against, but we might find out that their D Line would not look as good playing in the MVFC??
i think our D Line and their O Line are maybe a little underrated on a national scale
what i think all of this means is that- i think there is a decent chance that neither team can win a big enough majority of the LOS battle for this to be the difference in the game. if i say that a different way, i mean the battle at the LOS will be nearly a draw and it will NOT be a major deciding factor in the game
if somebody said they would kill my dog unless i bet that one or the other wins this battle i think the jacks have the better chance of having a decisive advantage in this area, but i would not want to bet on it.
winning turnovers often proves to be a decisive factor in games. if there are many turnovers in this game, i definitely believe that could decide the game. obviously shsu has not lost a game because of turnovers so far, but they do have a MUCH higher number of interceptions given up than the jacks
the jacks have been really good at taking care of the ball this year and have done it better as the season went on.
i do not think that the jacks MUST have get turnovers to win, but if they win the TO battle by 2 or more i think it is game over
based on the information i have seen, which is not enough to make BIG proclamations, in my opinion the biggest key to this game will be can the kats get enough BIG plays. obviously TOs are big plays or can be depending on field position, etc...
i think the jacks win a grind it out 3 yards at a time, NO big plays, game. i think that is MUCH harder for the kats
i think the kats need at least 3 BIG plays to win this game, meaning TOs- maybe for scores, big special team plays or TOs or returns, and offensive plays at least 30-40 yards long
i believe the jacks are confident they can win as long as they do not give up big plays and fast scores. so rabbit fans i know sometimes we hate the bend but dont break philosophy, but i basically guarantee that will be the plan and i believe it is a good one!!!
i have doubts the kats can sustain several LONG drives and finish them with TDs. if we let them score quick over the top, or we give up a bunch of short fields, it could be a tough day for the jacks.
Big plays would obviously be good for the jacks too!! if we get TOs or big plays in return game like bison did that will be great. i think we will definitely try to find opportunities to hit over the top with our passing game and i think that their DB have shown a weakness for getting beat deep. they also use their hands a FREAKING LOT!!!! if they have been handsy all year like they were in last two games and JMU especially, and they were officiated like the jacks have been, their defense would have a much lesser reputation. they absolutely lose the JMU game if they are reffed like jacks have been multiple times this year- UND, NDSU, SIU2, probably more
anyway i think we will look for the big play in pass game and i think they are there to be had. but i do NOT think we need the big plays to win, if we have to grind it out we can win that way also
so, that said, there could be many things that can make a difference in the game but if i was coaching the jacks my biggest priority would be to stop or severely limit the big plays for shsu, defensively that means guarding against the big play and force them to beat you by making at least 3 drives of over 10 plays and putting ball in the endzone. and making them go 12 or 15 or 18 plays is even better, especially if they end up with 3 or zero. AND it means NOT giving up short fields or scores with TOs or big returns.
if the jacks get big plays in any of those ways it will DEFINITELY help and could make the difference between coming down to the wire or winning comfortably like 2 of 3 playoff games. big plays on O will also loosen up the LOS and give the jacks more opportunity to pummel them with the run game
btw another thing i think is not a key is time of possesion. both teams have proven they can win a game without having the ball a lot. jacks just totally dominated a game that they lost time of possession about 38 minutes to 22. and SIU game was not much different. Same for shsu. they just beat JMU in a game where they did almost all their scoring in about 5 minutes
btw AGAIN if i am correct about this, that means rain would be in jacks favor i think. at least makes big play pass game more difficult, maybe it causes more TOs???? if either team wins that battle (turnovers) significantly it is probably the game but like many things that have already been brought up, that is pretty obvious
