If the flash and flare is just for some dandy boys that want to pretend to be Jackrabbits fans it's probably not worth it.

You saw the reaction video, right? How are you not realizing that the players love this stuff? Regardless of how insignificant and superficial it may be to you... can't you at least see that it does matter? As far as discussing it on here, it's no different than discussing the design of the numerous new buildings that are being constructed, or the new field that was installed, it's good conversation material.

Maybe to some. Whatever's best for the Jackrabbits and SDSU is where my dedication's lies. Players seemed excited. We'll see if that translates to a win or if it's the coaching, game plan and effort that really matters.

Discuss their wardrobe all you want, I'm glad it excites you and the players. The more excitement for the program the better!!

I've always had the "stretch SD" logo helmets ranked as my favorite, and while the uniform has no bearing on whether I'll be at the games, it does spice things up and generate excitement.

Saturday can't get here soon enough.

Never seen a fan board so dedicated and excited over discussing the players wardrobe. I could care less and think there are more important things to discuss, but whatever excites you, carry on...

Yeah, that's not even close to being true. A Notre Dame board has close to 4,400 posts on uniforms in general, but it doesn't even include their special one offs they wear once a year. A Texas one has a thread that's 94 pages long about uniforms in general. And those are two teams that their uniforms hardly ever change, if at all. I don't even want to know what an Oregon or an Oklahoma State board would look like. So a few posts discussing it isn't that big of a deal.

I looked at the ticket website yesterday morning and about 2700 were left. Just checked now, so just over 24 hours, there are about 2000 left. So about 700 tickets sold. I would say there's a good chance of there being more then 17,000 there.

I had looked Sunday night and there was around 3400 tickets available, currently (2:00pm on Tuesday) there was 1978 seats available. This is going to be close to a sellout. So walk-up crowd I would get your tickets now as their might not be seats available on Saturday.

Ticket office feels there is a good chance it will be a sellout. Get your tickets ASAP.

I don't give a flying F what the players wear as long as they play well. If Stig thinks it's worth spending the money on a new uniform every week and the result is successful so that the fan base continues to increase and support the program by getting their asses into the stands and donating to the Jackrabbit Club and SDSU then I'm all for it.

Half of the talk is continued because of people like yourself bitching about it being talked about or calling it unimportant, with some even going as far as calling it a waste. That's why it's a conversation. This could have been done being talked about outside of a few posts saying cool, I wonder what they will be and a few guesses. But it drags on because certain people for whatever reason see the need to bitch and moan every time it comes up. Then the argument starts up again and it drags on. If you don't like it, try not bitching and arguing about it and dragging it out.

Its Tuesday before a Saturday game after a big win. Everyone (well obviously not everyone) likes new cool uniforms. it is a sign that we are no longer D2 boring, conservative SDSU and that our FB program has come a long way. It is also a way to get the players focus back on the game after the big win. I LIKE IT!!! So let's talk uniforms, game talk can begin Thursday. As for what we wear, the "heads will explode" comment likely means there will be at least some black. I do think the helmets will be the blue and we will go back to the yellow stickers. I say black tops, blue pants, blue helmet and the lettering on the jersey will be yellow with blue outline. And we will be able to bid on the jerseys much like the military jersey from last season.

I don't think black would cause any head explosions. It's got to be more radical than black. There has to be pink involved for breast cancer awareness month.

this was the reaction the Carolina basketball team had when they found out they were going to wear black for a game and going away from "tradition". I would say that's pretty close to head explosion and this is a similar reaction that our players had when they saw what they are wearing Saturday.
