I don't think black would cause any head explosions. It's got to be more radical than black. There has to be pink involved for breast cancer awareness month.

I don't give a flying F what the players wear as long as they play well. If Stig thinks it's worth spending the money on a new uniform every week and the result is successful so that the fan base continues to increase and support the program by getting their asses into the stands and donating to the Jackrabbit Club and SDSU then I'm all for it.

If the flash and flare is just for some dandy boys that want to pretend to be Jackrabbits fans it's probably not worth it. Having an ongoing discussion about how pretty the team looks is expected on a coyote fan board but not here, not IMHO.

Blaze orange tops with dark brown numbers and brown RABBITS on the chest, hunter brown pants, and blaze orange helmet with pheasant decals and hunter brown facemask. That would be pretty radical, draws attention to a huge tourist attraction (pheasant hunting), doesn't include school colors, something unlike anything seen before in uniforms, players would go berserk, heads would explode, Under Armor promotes their hunting clothing... it meets all criteria I can imagine.

Picture something like below except in a football uniform.

We open as a favorite at -3.5. I have no idea what the smart guys setting the lines know, but if we finish drives like we have all season rather than what we did in Fargo, we cover that easily. Stop the run again this week and do what we do on offense and this is a blowout. Dare YSU to throw. I hope we guard against a letdown after NDSU. I feel like that is our worst enemy this week. We sorely need to get over this Hobo Day hangover we have had the past few years. It's terrible.
