There were many who shared those sentiments. Something about Gandy having more wiggle. I wanted ZZ because he volunteered and taught my elementary daughter Spanish in the mornings. Just a great kid.

Gandy is is another great kid, I spoke with him a couple summers ago. Nice and respectful.

Refering to how fans fall inlove quickly with the next best thing. Fans were going nuts thinking how great his career would be from his hot start. Just saying to give tc time and not assume he will steamroll everyone. He might have some growing pains.

Everyone is entitled to a few mistakes. I asked Stig once why Gandy did not play more, and his reply was He is too casual. And now he is what fourth in the depth chart. I assume Gandy knows the benefits of free education. No doubt a great guy who does value education.

Back to topic, TC has the amazing talent and we are fools not to tap into those skills. At least from the stands he looks rather small, but is 6'2", I am worried about injuries as from now on he has a target on his back.

Come on man, we're fans. Of course we are going to have extremely high expectations for the most likely highest touted recruit we've ever got, who plays the most important position on the field, and is from South Dakota.

Whatever happened with that Zenner guy anyway?

No I think he is referring to the younger Zenner brother Sam. I don't know if this fact, but I think I read on this board that he was injured, but he is the scout team I believe. As far as I know there are no plays to pull his red shirt.

Augie can correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure it was a tongue in cheek comment on Zach.

Sam as far as I know is still sidelined with injury but should be healthy for spring ball. That staff is very high on him. At this stage he's ahead of zach in all the measureables, the one thing they can't measure is heart. I think he'll turn out well there too. Those parents have raised phenomenal children.

I did notice that Kelo did a feature on Sam about making it to the NFL. My impression was it was a tad premature considering he hadn't played a college down yet. Maybe not based on your comment.

I realize this is thread drift but one last point.

Premature? Maybe, but in case we need a reminder of how similar he is to Zach here is his hudl again.
Remember he was the 100 meter champ in track too, the highlights show that.

I'll expand on that and add "vision" as a trait that doesn't have a measurable, but much like heart, you know it when you see it.

Zach's vision when it came to reading blocks and seeing holes was at an elite level. I'll wait to see how Sam is in that area before I start getting too excited about him being the second coming.
If you think nobody cares about you, try missing a couple of payments.

Zach Lujan is practicing today. SDSU QBs splitting reps evenly. Taryn Christion listed as starter on 2-deep.

Watch the hudl, I think his vision is comparable to Zach.

I like that, working together and getting lujan reps to keep him loose.
