bison women fall at fort wayne by 7. omaha loses on road to iupui by 11.(mav women hit a bump on road.) The Jackrabbit women open the lead on the conference.
bison men of course over ipfw by 12. omaha men get a win by scoring 90 at home over iupui. Jackrabbits work hard to get home win of course as they work to top of conference.

Bjorklund was 7 of 8 from the field last night against IPFW. I saw a graphic during the game that said he leads the nation in shooting percentage. I saw him pass up somewhat questionable shots several times, even though he was just a few feet from the basket. I guess that helps with shooting percentage. He finished with 14 points. IPFW hung around for the first half but NDSU built a comfortable lead early in the second.
UNO women have now lost 2 of 4 and can probably be crossed off as potential contenders for the regular season league title. IUPUI is tied for second but they got beat by Oakland. Summary: it could easily be SDSU and USD at #1 and #2. That would be fun for Sioux Falls.
After watching Jacks failing to pull away from the Yotes in Frost, I came away with impression that USD is likely to be the 2nd best team. However, haven't played either IUPUI or Omaha yet.

I'm a big UNO fan today, as the WIU men roll into Omaha. Maybe UNO can surprise us and get a second consecutive win. That would be a huge help to SDSU.
NDSU/OU is obviously a big one. I can't help but root for OU even though a win by them could end up biting the Jacks big later on. An OU win brings NDSU into range but also makes OU a major top-3 contender. Oakland has a lot of home games at the end of the season and will make a late surge towards the top.
USD has KC at the Dome and better take care of business if they want to stay in the middle of the pack. After today they only have three more home games (and one of them is OU)!
Then there is the game at Frost. The Jacks must win or they they will suddenly be in a position where a #2 seed is probably only wishful thinking.
Not the most intriguing day today in Summit WBB. UNO @ WIU is probably the best matchup. USD should pound KC on the road and SDSU should do the same at IPFW. NDSU @ Oakland appears to be a battle between teams that are 1-3 and on the verge of being buried.
That's my crappy amature-level analysis of Summit gameday. Hopefully both SDSU teams take care of business.
The UNO-WIU men's game will be curious since the mavs have begun scoring a bunch at home and the leatherncks have a defense to limit possessions. If the mavs get into the 60's, it may be a game. That could turn into the dark horse of the day with a surprise.
