    Great season but man !
No...this one is on the the refs. Should have been 20+ point lead in 1st half. Ridiculous.

I am so proud of the Jacks. They played a great team game. Just came up a little short. But they did look like the better team most of the night.

      Very proud!!

      Great Season!!

We have such a marvelous team that we all view as close family. It's tough to see them lose but this was a season to remember.

I saw that too, if she can do that why can't she shoot free-throws

I am with you on that one but rules are rules. No, we can't blame the refs but this is another shinning example of the refs making it their game and not letting the players decide it on the court.

Don't blame the refs. The refs didn't make that shot at the end.

But...I do think it's ironic how the Rachel Allyson who could not shoot free throws because of her knee injury, was jumping up and down ecstatically when that final shot was made no less than 1 or 2 minutes later.

Edit - already been pointed out...nevermind.

I agree. The refs took us out of our aggressive defense when we were on the verge on blowing them out. They started calling every ticky tack touch foul they could dream up. The Summit league officating was better than this crew tonight. They wouldn't listen to AJ, but gave an ear for Mulkey to chew on all night.

Reminded me of Rodney Dangerfield in Caddyshack when the ball hit him in the arm.

                      Saw this as well.

But great season. Good luck to the Bears the rest of the way.

I'm annoyed by the substitution for free throws, but I'm more disappointed that we didn't play better defense on Griffin on that last basket. Griffin made a great play, no doubt. She's a terrific player. We did have our chances.

But what a year for SDSU. Those seniors deserved a better final game from the officials, but that wasn't to be tonight. 32-3 is an amazing season. We're on the map. Have to take that pain and turn it into something positive next year.
                        Holy nutmeg!

32-3 and going down in an epic battle with the #5 team in the country with of the best coaching staffs in the country.

                          Nice job, ladies.

Best wishes for the seniors and hope that the returnees remember this game and come back next year hungry and determined.

That being said. Great season rabbits!!!! The team was amazing all year. It's nice to be able to root for SDSU on a national level.

That being said. I'm still pissed. This was the season. A sweet 16 within a hair's breadth, ripped away by the black-&-white's-with-whistles. A win tonight gets a week's worth of awesome media and recognition boosting our rep for years to come, and it was blown away by poor officiating.

I know the talk has been about the refs, but which were worse? Summit league officials, or the officials tonight? And yes, they kept Baylor in the game in the first half. When half your points come from the foul line (14 of 28 1st half points), the refs had something to do with it.

All in all a great season for the women, I'm sure I won't be able to fall asleep anytime soon.

It sucks but you folks are forgetting what adrenaline will do for you in those situations. The ref gave her a break as she was able to walk off the court but the rule is what the rule is. I'm guessing after she jumped up and down a bit her knee reminded her it was there.
