According to one of the coaches they may be changing the dates at SDSU or they may not be having the elite camp this year. We should know more soon.

I have family in Indiana, so I sort of keep up with what's going on over there. A similar thing happened with the Ball State women's basketball elite camp. It was going on at the same time as many summer basketball events so they just cancelled it all together.

Sounds like this girl attended the Elite Camp and did well.

Princeton's Mariah Clarin made the all star team at South Dakota State Universty's Team Camp. Week end of June13-14.
You can read it here. I wonder who else made the all star team at the SDSU team camp?

According to this website she is a 5'-11" forward and ranked 8th in the state of Minnesota

I wonder if Walters will be the first instate offer and commitment in 2011? I believe we have 3 scholarships available.

I really like this player. It was important to get an early verbal from her. I think by the time she is done at SFW she will be an accomplished player that many larger Dl schools would have been interested in. Maybe they already where. She has the outside game of Jill and an inside game of Jen Wark - OK, if not now after two more years she will. You just gotta love those lady Jacks.

According to TV in today's Blog offers are out for the two remaining scholarships in 2011. Would not be surprised if Mercedes Stotesbery of Sioux Falls Washington is one of the offers. She was listed at 6'2 last year.

He mentioned those offers are to the normal recruiting areas which we can assume is SD,Iowa,MN,WI. Here is a list of top MN players in class of 2011.

Looks like we have another St. Peter recruit in our sites, AnnMarie Brown, a 6' Junior. Currently ranked #8 in Minn. by gprep.net

I think that success of the Jacks' WBB program can be seen by the fact we are talking about all these very young girls who are already progressing to the point of possible recruits.

The fact that these young women now have a legitimate DI program to learn from had given them something to shoot for (pun intended). It will also be very interesting to see if the successes of the football team have the same impact on the development of those players.
