Spring Break.

My sister and I were talking about this during a break in the action at the Creighton game. I think that the presence of the cheerleading squad members is something that absolutely needs to be addressed before next year. I know that students deserve time off too, but if you are a member of these squads I would think that it would kind of be understood that if your team advances you would be there in some form. Especially if it is a home game as in this case.

If the women win the Summit League tournament next year and advance to the NCAA tournament are the cheerleaders going to be allowed to miss that?

Creighton's season came to an end tonight with a 75-69 overtime loss at Marquette.

Crieghton was down 15 at the half and shot 71% from 3 point range and 61% total to take it to overtime. Unreal.

Actually pretty good news. That means their 71.9% against us in the second half wasn't just a fluke...and they needed everyone of them against us...since two misses in that second half would have put the game at a tossup with three minutes to go. And it also indicates our defense wasn't all bad. Actually Vaporia ratings put us all three close together (Marquette 60, Creighton 74, SDSU 75), so that looks pretty accurate as well. Of course, I sure would have liked to play Marquette on our floor last night!!!! It was a great season...AGAIN...and we are certainly ready to compete strong again next year!
