Listening to the post-game interview with AJ...Creighton shot 70% from the field in the 2nd half. Wow...you have to tip your hat to them...they came in here and just plain beat us.

They absolutely shot the lights out. Not much more to say. We went a little cold, but could have still won the game if they would have play slightly more down to earth. Says a little something that we didn't shoot that well and they shot the lights out, but we were able to keep it that close.

Just got home and I'm not used to this "numb" feeling. I sat behind the basket that the Blue Jays should buy from SDSU, Bronze and take back to Omaha with them.
I've never seen more basketballs go through one hoop in one half in my entire life...NEVER. It was depressing as much as it was impressive.
At some point our ladies were going to run into someone that shots the lights out and no matter how we play it was their night...tonight the 2nd half was Creighton's night, no other way to put it.

Thanks ladies for another great season and giving Jackrabbit fans somthing to look forward to all winter long. We are all proud of you for everything you do.
Let's get ready in the offseason and prepare to kick whosever ass comes into Frost for the next two years! As they say, time for a new streak!

Got home and immediately turned on the TV to check out the NCAA Tournament.

What can be said about tonight? Everything went in for Creighton. Everything! The defense was good but it was just their night. It reminded me of when Miller went off against the men for NSU a few years back except this time the entire Creighton team went off.

The women played a decent game. Intensity throughout. It wasn't a great game for them but certainly nothing to hang their heads about.

Special thanks go out to our two seniors, Andrea Verdegan and Courtney Grimsrude. What a record they put up at SDSU. Two years in the WNIT (big dance if eligible this year), two years of the top GPA in the country, and Summitt League Champions. Incredible stuff and they did it all with class! Best of luck in the future and hats off to both!

Just waching the NCAA's tonight gets me excited for next year. We are going to be stacked again and the Summitt tournament is in our back yard. WE ARE FINALLY BIG DANCE ELIGIBLE!!! It's going to be great.
