If we look at the Denver game and consider that 72 points were scored by the Jackrabbits, putting the ball in hole is not the entire game. Defense should have limited the Pioneers to less than 77 points. Defense is probably more than 50% of the game when the entire process is evaluated. I would like to see 72 points every game, but the other team should not be scoring that many points. Defense is the key to that solution. Meanwhile, we can hope that Waytashek and Stevens are returning for action.

ok. it was for Denver. they scored more often than the Jacks.

i just lean towards more offensive minded athletes. add athletic to the equation, even better. it is much easier to teach the defensive side of the ball than offensive skills. i just prefer going into a game with scorer(s) and having ability to play solid defense than relying on mainly defense.
