    SDSU Jackrabbits @ Denver Pioneers

It looks like Miller is our best hope offensively tonight. The supporting cast is just not getting it done and Denvwr keeps making shots. Not looking good at all. Jacks down 8. We just have too much talent stuck on the bench.

Our lack of shooting killed us....plain and simple...I always thought we were a good shooting team, until this game.

                    No question about that.

Their absence is just as glaring on defense. Waytashek's wingspan causes all sorts of problems for opponents. Denver has no chance of scoring 75 points with those two in the game. Of course, they spent the game on the bench. A loss is a loss.

If both are still out Friday don't be surprised if ORU beats us worse.

                      Final: Denver 77, SDSU 72.

Macy Miller with 30 points and 8 rebounds.

Young added 17 and Clarin added 12 points.

Jacks shot 36% overall and were +7 on the glass.

Denver shot 47% and made 8 threes.

Jacks are now tied for 2nd in the conference at 7-4 with WIU and IUPUI. Jacks are now 2 full games behind USD.

If Waytashek doesn't play, I'd be surprised if they kept it close at ORU. ORU is something else at home this year.

Final 77-72...got it to within 3 ....rebound went to Denver on errant shot....fouled with 4 sec left...Van Riper Rose nailed both for final score.

As deep as we are, this should've been a 20 pt win. This is a terrible Denver team. If you are a championship caliber club, you take care of business in a game like this. Bad, bad loss.

That's a tough loss. Probably not going to get a top 2 seed. Unless MW is back and 100% the oru game could be even worse.

Wow, Macy had 30 points tonight, I could tell she wasn't happy though from the sound of her voice in her post game interview.

The 2nd seed in Sioux Falls is still very due-able. Hopefully MW can play on Friday or that game could get UGLY!

Nice to see that the team decided not to show up except for Miller and Young. Very bright future for the SDSU backcourt.
