STILL an 11 seed playing against Purdue in West Lafayette. UND is a 14 seed playing in West Lafayette also

God I hope not. West Lafayette is the armpit of the United States. Well...I'm not sure it's even that nice. Plus, I'd just as soon travel to a location the Jacks haven't been to before.



Edit: West Lafayette isn't horrible...but Lafayette on the other hand...

#28 in the nation for non-conference sos. That goes a long ways in terms of seeding.

We played a tough schedule, but we were beaten by an average of over 22 ppg in those losses. The only game out of those 7 we competed was the Creighton game.

I hope your right and the SOS helps us, but I'm not going to hold my breath. I fear the way we lost those games won't be ignored by the committee.

I don't think the committee looks at the margin of loss of the games. All they see is the "L". The things that have hurt in the past are the loses in conference. losing to IUPUI twice last year did no favors for our seeding. I wanna say that IUPUI's RPI last year was right around 125ish, still the 2nd best RPI in the conference. The teams that beat us have a combined winning percentage of 77%. That is ridiculously good. If our RPI can stay below 60 (I think its at 47 right now), i truly feel that we will get a 11 or a 12 seed instead of the 13-14 seeds.

Not very many have competed with Stanford and Notre Dame. So out of the other 5, the Ark/LR game was the worst loss. Theyve lost by some big margins since they beat us. I think we'd beat em if we played them now. Middle Tn has won 16 straight. BYU is in a tough conference. FGC i think should have been a winnable game. I wish we could play some of those teams now and see how we would do.

Jacks still a 11 seed. This time playing against Gonzaga in Seattle. That would be a fun match-up. Penn State is listed as a 2 seed.
