1st predictions of the women's tournament came out today. Charlie Creme of ESPN has the Jacks as a 11 seed playing against Syracuse in Ames, Iowa.

Ames would be much closer than Boulder. 11 seed would be nice too. Charlie also must give a little credit to OOC schedule. Now we need the women to win the Summit tourney.Best to remember these are kids and they are doing everything they can to entertain us, be scholars, and all in all be great humans. Jackedforlife -

The committee can up a seed or down a seed one level to get a travel "fit" for the 11-15 group. I think what we're seeing with this projection is getting sent to an Iowa site by Charlie. I'd say our seed now is about the best of the one bid leagues.Comment

Heck, let's have a little fun with this thread. I predict the women stumble a few times in conference and finish 11-3 in Summit League play. They win the Summit Tourney...again. You definitely have just the same odds of being right as any of the fulltime experts. I doubt that any of the dozens and dozens of bracketology preditions shared here over the past five years have turned out to be correct.Originally posted by jacks1 View Post

I would endorse the idea of a closer game. Geography has not been in the selection committee's concern for the Jackrabbits. Although we were a little closer last year than some. It may even be nice if Sioux Falls could land a game for the women's NCAA tourney.
